Wonderful layout and an impressive array of southern region emus. Was the 4epb modified from Bachmann 2epb units? And I’d love to know where the bulleid epb came from 🙂

My daughter and I both enjoy the exhibition this year, & it was good to see twelve trees junction at a local exhibition. It was also great to see a variety of rolling stock on the layout, as I have read in Hornby Magazine about your intention to bring more verity to this great layout, now I look forward to reading about the extra scenic section & the new signals that are due to be done. All the best & Happy Modelling, TM81(PhilsTrains)

Extremely well done and realistically too eg driverless and passengerless to boot! Just as well given the new route for the Brighton Belle goes via Basingstoke now! Nothing like variety for the spice of life! Even in railway history a Brighton Atlantic or two operated from Basingstoke tho’ precisely in which year I cannot say and I have heard that even one of the two BrightonPacific tanks served from Basingstoke as well....My guess is that these operations were during the early war years.

The signal gantries in this video are they possibly ratio kits?
@WilliamMooreHCFS6 жыл бұрын
aigen56 yes sir. I read about the Hornby Magazine team building them in the publication of the same name.
@hornbymag6 жыл бұрын
They are static Ratio signal gantry kits. The large gantry is a combination of two kits to span across five tracks.HM.

The steam locos especially need crews.

May I ask is the layout dc or dcc?
@WilliamMooreHCFS6 жыл бұрын
intercity 125 125 I'm pretty sure it's DCC. I read about in a copy of Hornby Mag. Plus, you'd be hard pressed to get such good sounds without DCC.

William A. Moore thank you

It is DCC controlled. We use Gaugemaster Prodigy for train control with Hornby's RailMaster/Elite connected to the point/accessory power bus. HM
