HM202: Accurascale Class 66 for OO gauge

My Class 66 (s) would be nos. 66763 "Severn Valley Railway" in GBRF and 66507 in Freightliner. From what I've seen, the class 66 would be available on stockist and Accurascale websites at the end of May due to a 7 week maximum shipping time starting from 3rd April so there will be 5 weeks left to go from next week.

These do look fantastic. However, I'd have preferred a plain GBRf one. Like 763, but unnamed. It is nice to get so many special liveries, but the plain ones are also needed in a form that can be easily reworked. I have bachmann's EWS 135, Freightliner heavy haul 610, First GBRf 66725 Sunderland, and hattons' large logo GBRf 66789 so far. I don't know if I need more tbh.

@@ducthman4737the co2 is heating the planet because it’s a greenhouse gas also climate change doesn’t necessarily mean warmer; it makes the weather more extreme, thus more storms and rain as well as heating up the planet

@@LBfootball2 CO2 is just the scapegoat for what is really going on. CO2 is at 400 ppm just 0.04 % of the atmosphere and the human part just a 0.012 % . Every time you exhale 5% of your breath is CO2 = 50,000ppm. What really is going on is Earth's magnitic field strenght has been weakening. Therefore we have less protection from the Sun what enables more radiation to reach the surface and to penetrade deeper in the oceans. Earth's temperature is Ocean heat storage and atmosperic pressure (it's colder higher up the mountain) . Did you know that Hippos swam the river we today call Thames about 130 thousend years ago during the Eemian interglaciation period? The planet was some 3 degrees to 5 degrees C (5 degrees to 9 degrees F) warmer during the Eemian period than it is today. But if you want to believe it's CO2 feel free to do so.

It's running on Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil instead of diesel as an experiment with biofuels. As a result it emits up to 90% less emissions than diesel would.

I did notice that on the locos running around that some of the axle boxes were concentric (not having a go at Accurascale) I used to own an original Hattons 66, the BR large logo one and never had a problem with mine, only sold due to upscaling to O gauge. Looks like a fair amount of upgrades, if I still modelled oo gauge I would be tempted

Well there are quite a lot of them- it makes sense that people want loads so a few manufacturers make them!
