@@Lyraid_ In an era where telcos around the world are ripping out their 3G towers to replace them with 5G towers, what the actual living fuck were HMD thinking when they produced a 3G/4G capable device with no 5G support...?!? There are now massive regions of the world where you will completely lose reception because there's no 3G coverage anymore and just a sliver of 4G reception by virtue of it's lack of long distance transmission ability, though, you might be surrounded by people enjoying the 5G signal installed in the area which you have ZERO access to... Absolute fucken retards at HMD... Oh, and it's SINGLE SIM only and doesn't even have a hybrid SIM slot... This feels like a device from fucken 2010...

Please consider making a short camera review of Pulse Pro? Just take a few pictures indoors/outdoors and a couple in low light and maybe just one outdoors video while walking and 1-2 selfies.

Is the software still the same stock android as nokia ones?

HMD no longer uses Android One. The "HMD UI" (it has no known name) is a customized AOSP - different sound set (?), some UI elements have been revamped (Setup screen, About phone screen, seems like themed icons are the default setting?), custom camera app (looks like a typical Chinese brand camera app)

A walk through of the software Vs HMD Nokia android one would be great rather then a full review. It's a budget phone and will do the basics well enough as long as expectations are kept in check. See maybe how well it's runs against snapdragon Nokia devices maybe. Was a good unboxing. Straight to the point and nice look around the device. Glad it still has a headphone jack.

I went into Wallpaper & icon and it's just wallpaper and icon as it suggests, nothing about clock faces.

I was a Nokia fan up until the nokia Microsoft lumia 730 then i had and Xperia xa1 and now totally sold on Motorola on my 3rd one. And 4th coming. Motorola edge 30 ultra is awesome but the Motorola edge 50 ultra is what it should of been without Samsung restricted camera. amazing in every way and half the price of a Samsung s24 ultra.

In my opinion, when HMD started making a new Nokia device, they had some problems, but the devices turned out to be interesting. However, something went wrong in recent years and they have been producing some kind of junk. And these new Pulse smartphones won't save them, as far as I'm concerned .

Shame the Unisoc T606 chipset still has a ton of un-patched vulnerabilities (581 cve entries in the NIST database since 2022) compared to around 10-15 vulnerabilities for the equivalent Qualcomm or Mediatek chipsets (e.g. snapdragon 665). I will be sticking to non Chinese chipsets even if I have to buy higher end phones to do so!
