Don't know why everybody wants at 8:50 so bad. I mean I get it but for $1800 you can do a big bore kit cam and higher compression piston, Exhaust fuel manager and intake MOD. Add that to a brand new grizzly that cost $10,000 and you've got a lightweight quad that will destroy anything except a 1000cc and a drag race and who gives a shit. So for $12,000 you can without a doubt the best quad you can get. Retain all the reliability. People are so hesitant to upgrade the grizzly. Just drop the damn money and do it if you want the power. It's not that much compared to buying a new Yamaha 850 when it comes out. Guarantee you that's a $14,000 quad. Easily

I have really enjoyed this build! Everything you guys have done to this Grizzly has been well thought out! Do you think you could obtain a used 2009-2012 model Honda Rancher AT 420 to do a project/build like this on? I really would would like to install the HMF Titan exhaust you mentioned and optimizer on my 2012 model, but I ride in very noise sensitive areas and I am having trouble finding sound clips online of the Titan or formerly Swamp quiet series exhaust for my Honda Rancher. I even checked HMF's site and they did not have any sound clips of it for my machine. I wanted to hear the exhaust on my machine before I made the investment. Thanks!

+Palomino488 As such a popular machine, we would love to do a project on the Rancher if we knew a local rider with one that could part with it for a while. HMF's quiet version of the Titan exhausts are all claimed to be within one to two decibels of stock . We would be worried about judging the volume of an exhaust based on a sound clip which will depend on the volume of your speakers and mic sensitivity more than the actual decibel level. We spoke to HMF and they told us that the Titan series for your machine with a programmer add around two horsepower and two foot pounds of torque. That's around a 7% horsepower increase. We're pretty sure you can count on their sound level assessments based on our experience. Thanks for taking the time to watch our Grizzly project and leaving us some feedback. Hope this helps.

Hi! i have a Yamaha grizzly 700 2016 and i have an homemade exhaust tip its smaller then the pipe and what the Yamaha store that made a service on it they said that if we have our own exhaust tip it will decrase the power and the speed of it and the speed i have seen that it went from 120km to 100km so should i put back the original exhaust or keep the one i have ?? it was made by a guy who knows a hole lot about exhaust and ATVs
@ATVonDemand7 жыл бұрын
MjBuggies sounds like you should go back to the stock setup. if you want to increase horsepower you may want to look at an aftermarket exhaust system and fuel programmer. Increasing the airflow with an exhaust will require an increase in fuel flow.

would a Kodiak 700 run cooler with an aftermatket exaust and fuell optimizer?
@ATVonDemand2 жыл бұрын
A well tuned optimizer will help it run cooler and make additional power. Adding the exhaust will only add to the additional power.

I like how they put a clutch kit for moving up 1 tire size. I have a 2014 grizzly on 29.5 outlaw 2s and it pulls them no problem and has no issue turning them in the mud😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@ATVonDemand6 жыл бұрын
Cesar Hernandez the tires that we added actually measure in at more than an inch taller. They're also heavier than the stock wheels. We didn't add a clutch kit because we felt we had no choice we had a clutch kit because we wanted to enhance performance. Your bike is now more sluggish than stock and ours runs better.
@CesarHernandez-nn8xf6 жыл бұрын
ATVonDemand Mine runs and rides the same as my sister's 2015 which is on stocks
@ATVonDemand6 жыл бұрын
Cesar Hernandez everyone who knows anything about ATVs knows that adding taller tires will take away acceleration. The fact that you believe it makes no difference is probably somewhat indicative of your experience level. Trustus, a clutch kit makes a big difference when going to larger tires. If you are happy with the way your ATV runs that's great.

I run 27s and just added EPI trail clutch kit and its way more responsive. definitely worth it

Dude I added 26 inch zillas on my 2020 brute it added 40 pounds. It doesn’t pull as hard as stock tires and lost top speed. Why wouldn’t you do a clutch kit. You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about pal. Your 2014 grizzly on 29.5’s are ripping anything. Full of shit
