HMI Server Back Up

Hello.I have HMI server Rockwell and have PLC siemens s-412. I would like make a full backup HMI server and create it on other PC. Can you to explain how to do it? Also I have KEP ServerEX on the first PC.

I recovered my backup on other PC. but FTV SE not work without databases. "Alarm server is unheathly"

Andrey Hlebnikov Did you watch the other videos I sent? I cover that in those videos I sent those trying to help you, not waste your time. If you have done the recovery right then all you have to do is point the app to look at your PC. I show that in the other videos

What about restoring to a backup that you already have made

Personally, I do not recommend that. Make a new backup and rename it to keep track of everything but it's your call. Just know that it may corrupt the file.

@@ShaneWelcher would this corrupt the old backup? It's a proprietary machine the alarms stopped communicating from the server PC to the other PC ( 2 hmis 1 on server PC 1 on other) when trying to fix it now the hmi on receiving PC doesnt get a signal at all so I figured I would try to just restore it to the last saved configuration

@@DSNCB919 If you are referring to restoring a backup to a computer then that is fine, I thought you were talking about making a backup of the file.

@@ShaneWelcher no I just want to restore to a backup that's already completed from June to see if it fixes my communication issue ( it worked fine back then)
