Unfortunately in school we kinda glossed over chair, did maybe two days' worth of it and an event or two. I definitely was stressed about the MBLEx and saw myself doing nothing but table for my career. Now a few years into my license I'm working 85% chair and and only doing table here and there. So these videos are great to remember how to extend my chair massage. The clients always love it, but I just never know lol.

I just had a chair massage right now. It was actually better than a table massage. The chair massage really helped loosen up the knots in my shoulder blades.

This was a nice video. I really enjoyed your voice and I agree with what you said about working on the head. Also I’m glad you came back from your break from making videos. I was hoping you were okay during that time you were gone. Sending you the best wishes to you and your family during these strange and unusual times. Btw, I enjoy listening to your video even after a long day of working on clients all day. I really enjoy watching someone with a different style from me but still a passionate practitioner. Keep it up Spencer!!!

Do you use any oils or lotions when doing your chair massages?
@arasjourney711 күн бұрын
I give chair massages at an assisted living and we don’t use any emollients because of their clothing. Therefore gliding is not really possible. I find myself doing mostly compressions in these situations but they enjoy it

Love your channel and your videos :) What do you think about making a ASMR Massage Video Series, like every month or every second month uploading a video (10 - 20 minutes) where you massage a man or woman with some whispered explanations about your massage techniques? :) I would love that cause your movements and your voice are so relaxing, it's so nice to watch and to listen. I think a lot more people would love some "HM Massage - ASMR specials" ;)

He is compromising his body mechanics for the purpose of the video. Anyone who has made video demonstrating massage usually does so the viewer can have a better view of what is being done.

Is you're sore, you should receive medium pressure swedish to desensitize and drain lactic acid. Then wait a day or a few days and get a firm massage for knots, after much hydration.
