Yvette Fielding assembles her team for a massive two-part Christmas investigation at the foreboding and now disused Gloucester Prison. The vast site is said to be one of the most haunted places in Great Britain, a place that is seen death, fear, pain, suicide and incarceration. Eerily, the prison is built on the rotting corpses of many prisoners, making this a place with a dark and sinister energy and one to be feared.

Not sure if its been said already, but the dragging sound in the Healthcare Wing was just like the sound the lads made when dragging the laundry bags in and out. Great big heavy cloth bags full of bedding, prison issue clothing, etc. That heavy, it was a two-man job and once on the wing, easier to drag across the linoleum. I used to work at HMP Gloucester and can remember that sound, along with all the other noises of a busy working prison. Miss the place, worked with some great people for the few years I was there.

I worked on the wings as a probation officer, office hours only so never there after 6pm Friday...but the officers told stories, about noises of footsteps at night when working in the office on the wings and the lads were locked up for the night. (They would check and nobody was about and these guys were ex-military so a no-nonsense approach to everything). A Wing, was a place I never felt comfortable, (always felt very comfortable surprisingly on B-Wing) there was an 'atmosphere' on that A wing and a 'bad feeling' especially on the first landing, at the far end, near the large window (I didn't know about the use of those three condemned cells when working there). I would avoid walking that way and take the long way around if I needed to cross the landing to visit a cell on the other side - don't know why, just a bad feeling when near that area. The healthcare wing was ok, except I would run quickly down that stairway and outside even in the middle of the day, gave me the creeps. Other than that I loved the place, and miss working there.

Great episode from the team!!! Stuart gets some of the best activity regularly so he has a right to direct what happens during a vigil. He handled that moment VERY well. Fred doesn’t listen to a word the other team members say, sadly. Looking forward to part 2!

It’s a wonder Stuart kept his cool when Fred was going off on one, though I did hear him give a little sigh of frustration.He was getting very carried away. I’ve never heard Fred use the F word before, he always seemed to be pretty polite. I’m afraid Fred rather spoils it for me, I don’t think he adds anything to the show.

Its better to have Fred than some spiritual medium, but i agree we don't need a believer within the show. Everyone believes in ghosts anyway without a demonologist or they wouldn't watch it.

I watch other ghost hunting shows but it's not the same without Yvette's opening of the show, building the suspense and reviewing everything' at the end. Who does Fred think he is? No idea what teamwork means? Didn’t investigate the items being thrown at all, walked away from camera view. Didn’t go down to the 1st to investigate after the spirit saying it was there. Didn’t listen to Stuart at all! I always prefer when Fred isn’t there. I was there for a cosplay and photography convention earlier this year and I’m sure I heard a door slam from inside a building I was standing outside of. Heard it three times. I don’t rule out there was a logical explanation of it, but since doors slamming is a common occurrence within the prison, I’m 60% sure it was paranormal.

Most Haunted, as you expect it, but on KZbin. Love it. 12,000 views in 2 hours. Almost 2 hours, I feel you could have made two episodes instead of one, to keep the dynamics of the narration. The story-telling works better when it's tight in my very modest viewer's opinion.
