Good to see them working through the night to get it ready!

Doesn't look like they're running three shifts at all - for a destroyer/frigate the build time has been exceptionally long even for Royal Navy standards.

Lets hope it doesn't flood. The drive shaft is aligned, There are no major fires. Enough crew with experience to operate it. The Captain behaves themselves. Its able to deploy now & then. That apart it is nice to see the Navy have something new to defend our Country. Does it have a drone ?

The flooding on both carrier were minor (PoW less minor than QE), with the reported ingress being less than the meax rating for a narrow boat bilge pump IIRC. There hasn't been a major fire in recent Royal Navy history that I can think of. the royal navy surface fleet, currently, has a pretty decent deployability I will give you the drive shaft issues and recruitment issues, although the drive shaft issues have only really affected the carriers, not other vessels, perhaps because of the increased size?

@kimjonglongdong3158 Kitchen fires are major fires as far as the tabloids are concerned. Otherwise, agreed. Even with the nascent carriers reliability issues as is granted to most new large surface vessels, they manage to maintain a rather high level of readiness all things considered - at least comparable if not better than the matured Nimitz. The biggest problems lay in the aging RFA and the readiness of the Type 45s. Pair an engine and powerplant upgrade programme with an armament upgrade programme, and you've gotten quite a lot of ships in drydock and a stringent few available at sea. Typically only 2 at sea to support the active CSG and nothing else, though sometimes even only 1 apparently. 8 Type 45s should have been procured, not 6. If that meant delays in delivery of the QEs, that's fine - its taking a while to get their jets onboard anyway.
