HMX Cloud Sound Test | EE-AT and Neo70

HMX Cloud is one of the smoothest HMX switches around. With its LY stem, it produces a bottom-out sound that is full with a higher pitch, attributable to the material of the bottom housing. We have paired HMX Cloud with a plateless EE-AT. EE-AT features a special PCB where the socket tolerances are so tight that the switches don’t pop out easily, even without being soldered.
The result? A full and clacky sound paired with a soft and bouncy typing feel, without any vibration. It's well-designed and can be adjusted for a more responsive typing experience with a harder tadpole.
We include a control keyboard sound test (Neo70, Aluminum plate, gasket mount, in an acoustically treated room) in every sound test video. This allows you to compare typing sounds across our sound tests. Sound tests are highly dependent on the environment, recording tools, and the playback device. However, we believe that differences in sound can be discerned between recordings.
