That is a cool model Rob! I haven't worked with a lot of 3-D printed stuff, but I do agree with you in that the roof should be a separate piece. It does appear to be a little large, but the prototype may have been large too. I just think of the old Atlas (or Revell) model which was considerably smaller. Nice video! It's supposed to warm up over the weekend and you can get back out in the train room. 😊

@@johnlazar7582 3D printed products are pretty neat. I think they will change the hobby. Thank you, I can’t wait for some warmer weather, I’ve made 100 trips to the workshop for tools, I can’t get any work done. 🤣😂

Thanks for the review and the suggestion on making the roof a separate piece. This is a upscale of the N scale model and for N scale and windows I just use either liquid glass or crystal clear to make the windows. I don't know if this is doable with the bigger HO windows or now. But I am going to redesign the model for 2 pieces for future orders.

MR magazine once showed a tool used to install window glass that looked like a dental pick with a type of suction cup on the end. Your glazing may not be able to be installed in large pieces but smaller individual ones.

@@MosriteCharlie oh that’s cool, and I too was thinking “multiple panes” of glass.

Rob Hobby Lobby has a product called Gallery Glass. They use it in Stained Glass windows, But I use it to make windows. I put a Dab of the product onto a piece of card or plastic and use a sharp toothpick to apply it around the frame of the window. then start pulling from a corner to the opposite side going slowly. this brings a film of material with it. It looks like milk glass.

Until you are ready to place the tower on your layout I would have left the base attached. I could see me snapping those stars off in a heartbeat.
