Really, really, really nice. I could see a fresh paint for the room and the dresser. Also to go all the way tackle the closet which could free some space and maybe your youngest has things in their too. Doing a full declutter of the entire room to have it at its freshest. Your boy is great at doing it. Have a tub in the basement just for the boys to put items they don’t want anymore inside when they themselves want to declutter on their own. This will help all the family. A drop off declutter bin.

Sometimes having “enough” and not having crowded space simply feels nice. Less burden of too much to take care of. What you like and love has space and is less crowded. It’s respectful of what you have and use.

Great room! Creative way of disguising your son in the video. I think with kids you have to declutter regularly, they grow and their taste changes, and they get so many presents all the time. So, decluttering regularly is needed.

We keep an active thrift store box in our garage. Whenever we have anything we don't want we just put it out in the box. It helps a lot w/ stuff we no longer want. So it dosent just sit around forever.

Less stuff makes tidying easier. Also, when he’s in charge of his things it helps him realize what he’s willing to take care of and keep. My husband really prefers to not have much because he just doesn’t like “having to take care of stuff”. He’d just rather get on with whatever matters to him.

I’m proud of you for not being selfish, and passing things on so someone else can enjoy them. It is so hard to let their things go, I always felt like if my baby touched it, I could never get rid of it, but now I tell myself, we don’t need it and someone else can use it, I do like you, and keep a few sentimental things, like my sons first baby red converses, and my daughters first outfit that she had a picture in, and what I brought them home in. Hi Ms. Heart! It's amazing watching your journey in decluttering. You and Brandon have done an incredible job with this series. I wanted to let you know how amazing I think you are, you have such a beautiful relationship with your boys and it shows! You know all about what they're into (being able to name specific Pokemon for example lol), and it warms my heart because that is similar to the relationship I have with my mom! I'm 26 now and my room looks a bit like Brandon's; collectibles on display and such. Even though I'm older than I was when I was little, I never stopped loving the things I was into when I was a kid. Congratulations a very clean and age appropriate room. Just be glad your son(s) never decorated the walls with markers when they were young. Maybe that’s part of loving 🥰 a child with all of our heart. We respect their needs and timing to grow more, even when it’s not our will. I love the decorations!!! I just took some snowflakes off my wall at the end of the summer. I'm pretty sure my daughter still has some left on her ceiling but it's whatever the 3-year-old didn't rip down. 😂
