@scrapingE-wastebyMarsi cool, got any idea what I'm doing cause I don't, just winging it, I've been watching others and looked at the possibility of gold camouflaged in rust, do you get a distinct smell or odor off palladium that you've noticed? or is it smelly gold fever. Coppers smelly and aluminum that are distinctive, as far as I know platinum really isn't in ic chips or electronics at all except disks, basically this is about pulling the material from stirred up water with a paddle in clockwise direction up from material laying in the bottom that's usually heavier and the same color and there could be 3 to 5 more black material at the bottom of the coned glass, I've been listening to you and others on KZbin getting great info, my conclusion before restarting hobby gold recovery is to not wetwash any material into the ground after incineration and save everything let it set overnight, presoak in ap boil off all used water in anything dissolving base metals brings back ph level leaving multiple cement outs of different material will show in future video along with some past videos of process making 24k material

Doing almost exactly the same thing myself. I plan to collect everything and use potassium nitrate with sulphuric acid to leech off the iron and copper.

@tammyjeffreywilliam cool, there's hardly any iron in electronics, steel, plastic and copper is visible easily removed by hand , the more you extract the base metals prior to any chemicals the better

@tammyjeffreywilliam , after incinerated don't pour anything off let it settle as a mud, the professionals pour off that Mudd into the ground along with the microparticles, gold floats in water if fine enough , in solution smb is added to weight down the particles, don't throw away or pour off any chemicals, if you start with 1 gallon of hydrochloric acid after adding water and other stuff to hydro it increases volume and lowers ph after soaking boil off back to 1 gallon of hydro any plastic will drop during boiling off boiling brings back ph any hotter boil you'll boil off hydro from there set lower solid base metal in hydro and it drops out material or cements it out or both, once your hydro is back to original clear and colorless you can reuse it, other than 3 small plastic containers with some mlcc material I used 3 filters a 10, 25 and 50 mesh and filtering fingers and boad material I haven't used any filters on anything because of how small the particles are and camouflaged in black junk material and can be easily thrown away, keep everything , be careful when you boil of water to bring back ph in volume keep a constant eye on it because at a water boil when it's ph is back it will boil over when it's at the point of boiling over take off heat because even when it's half full it'll boil over, collect All material that settles out in any process then fry it in a frying pan into a powder and it can boil over if it's covered so slow boil off the water, if drying out material that has a little hydro left after siphoning off it'll boil over very quick so the temperature has to be on the lowest setting but it will boil off and don't breathe it whether it's water boiling or anything else, have fun

@@guytelfer1353 doing the same process with all the pins from. My IC chips. Lots of iron in those. Along with metal can transistors. My advice to anyone doing this is don't pour off ANY of the black powder. That is finely divided metal. It can easily stay suspended in liquid.

@prospectorpete I mentioned to speed up the video to 1.5 x's for clearer audio, 1 mistake could mean loosing a half ounce of something
