Interesting. From what I can tell, the white cover with black text of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell was published by Bloomsbury USA on September 8, 2004, and my copy has a red cover with beige text and was published by Bloomsbury (UK) on September 30, 2004. Both first editions, different publishing arms of Bloomsbury. Still, a nice present to receive.

The quiver looks great but I don't know about the bow. The arrows look good, if you're really worried about the nock just paint them to look like either bone or horn. Beers to you too sir.

I found this pretty entertaining, being unscripted is just legit and down to earth. Cool stuff - each time I watch another video I think about getting back into gaming and building models again. Looks like I needed this, go figure.

So, you're really building a full size diorama. Maybe you can get some shots of the actors standing on circular 'bases' and pretending to be miniatures. As for Catholisism, it is the worlds longest running LARP game.

I actually have a poster concept I’ve been toying with regarding the “actors as miniatures” concept! 🤙🍻

It's Saturday morning and before I go on to do my morning shift and then off to produce commercials. I watch your video. I loved the bow and quiver. and loved the D and D Lego figures, but I did a spit take and laughed my ass off when you compared Catholicism to 40K. Ok I had to clean off the computer screen and the control board thanks to that. I had a buddy in college who would do exactly that. He would go through Sci Fi and Fantasy books and compare the religions in the books to what we have now. He would come up with some very interesting ideas and comparisons. I have no Idea what he is up to now. Roar had me laughing too. I Was told years ago I have a very warped sense of humor. I never read Jonathan Strange, but it looks like I may have to visit the library.

Lol right on🏴☠️ the Jonathan Strange book is something I thoroughly enjoyed even though when I started to read it my initial thought on the first page was “there’s no way I’m gonna like this” - and then I was suddenly 50 pages in. 😎

Nice hangout video, in fact I'll join you for a beer while I watch. And I knew it's gonna be a good one when you brought out a raven skull in the first 3 minutes. You can't have a bad video with a raven skull in it. It's some weird law of nature or something.

Back in the 70's I lived in a small town that had a lion park as a tourist venue. Bullen's African Lion Park. You drove in and there were free roaming lions. At feeding time, you in your car, could watch as staff drove a truck around and threw haunches of meat out onto the ground. Real savage stuff. The place was just about a mile away from home. Freaked the house cat out when the lions would roar. One park worker was eaten in front of visitors. That must have been something awful to see. Later, a fellow decided enough was enough and drove into the place as normal and then during feeding time, just got out of his car. Suicide by lion. That's hard core. Yikes.

Just some more random thoughts watching the video....Paint the arrow's noc(?) a bone color. Where do you think GW got their ideas from? If you want a believable system, rip it off from some religion. And all religions look sane from the inside. A tip for writing the script - just play a few round with a camera running, BOOM you've got a rough draft and had fun. Oh, and Order can come out of Chaos. Order is bound by Chaos. Just find a line of roadwork barrels with the Blinky lights on them . A some point they will all flash in unison for a short time (Order), go Chaotic, then flash some other pattern, go Chaotic, ad infinitum. Add feedback and Order will dominate.

Man has dug up lots of things made discoveries. But what was the point of taking the skull of someone that was well known, it wasn't archeological or scientific. What was the conversation that led to deciding to take her head, from it's well marked resting place "snap click" and do arts and crafts, is that the "Popes " responsibility. Since we didn't know about Mary, they may have been doing this to all the famous people in history. I'm pretty sure Mary didn't give them the ok to do it when she was alive.
