i don't know if E6000 will work for your materials but it's a clear craft glue. Gorilla glue also makes a clear craft glue as well that I use. I love your goal to find a craft community, that is one of my goals as well, or to find a small biz community. wishing you much success in all your 2025 goals and also praying for that full time job for you as well!

I think that’s the one I was talking about and got the name all wrong lol. Thank you. I’m going to get a big tube this week. And a small biz community would be great. You’ll learn so much from a group like that. Might be easy to find some on Facebook for sure. Thank you for all of your well wishes 🙌🏾🫶🏾 you know I’ll be keeping you all updated.

Houston Acrylic has excellent selections and they ship same day ordered before 3pm, low minimum for free shipping

Thank you for the suggestion. I saw them when I was googling but assumed they were more local to Houston and wouldn’t ship. Going to look into that.

I don’t know about the free part but for paid classes partnering with someone like a bakery or cafe would be nice, they tend to have seating, can be like they either have a special menu item for them or everyone has to order 2 items plus their class project cost, like paint and sip.

That’s a smart idea, didn’t even consider that. Thank you. Adding that to my list of things to look into.

When I say that’s on my list to look into, that’s exactly why I said do it quarterly. That’ll help me for sure

Nice video! Especially the goals part. Part of my goals this year as well is also to look for community. I feel like the concept of community has been kind of broken by social media and no one is really being social, communicating and connecting in a meaningful way. So I want to meet people in person for my own mental sanity. Thanks for sharing your process your woodwork stuff is really cool, especially the custom designs.

I agree, we all NEED community offline. There’s nothing like human interaction. And like you said, everyone has been getting lost in everything being online that some people don’t even know how to socially engage with others in person.

@@WoodByRobyn Exactly. I'm very shy, and it's hard to go to groups where you don't know anyone. Although in my experience it was always worth it and unlike what the internet would like us to believe, people can be very welcoming and kind.

Use a clear drying glue

Thankfully it ended up drying clear by the following day, but I’m going to grab one that goes and clear and dries clear. I appreciate your feedback 🫶🏾

Hi, I would like to encourage you on your journey wishing success on all fronts. If you are familiar with the Small Business Administration, they offer a free business resource called Score Mentoring Program. My husband and I have used this resource. I would love to chat with you about craft techniques and hobby vs business, I emailed you offline hoping to connect.
