Before placing any order from HK, check the shipping costs first. Totally out of line.

Amen!!! Who is crazy enough to buy an airplane (or anything else for that matter) when it costs more to ship it than it does for the item. Then you get to wait 6-8 weeks for it to arrive from china.

I used to buy a lot of stuff from them because it was a good deal and they had items you couldn't find elsewhere. But when they started gouging on the shipping and jacking up their pricing, there's just no reason to buy from them any more.

Well, shipping costs with DHL from China to Finland are 12€ and it arrived in 4 days, so I don't think that's unreasonable in any way. Where do you live that you get so high shipping costs and long times?

I liver in North Carolina, USA. I just did a test for a $12.00 item and DHL was about $15.00 from China. In their favor, they did also offer two slower shipping options that ran only $3.95. In the past they offered these less expensive options but this is the first time I have seen it offered in several years.

I live in the middle of nowhere Iowa where the nearest hobby shop is over an hour away and I have no means of transportation to get there anyway. (disabled and living in a care facility) Most of the exorbitant shipping prices are for things not available in the US warehouse that must come from China. The cheapest shipping for an item from the US I have found is $7.77 for a set of Bixler flap hinges that could be put in a bubble envelope and mailed for $1. I guess if you wanna play you gotta pay. But I ain't gotta like it. At almost 70 years old I figured I have earned the right to be a little cranky once in a while.

Wow you can manage to get a build video and manual out on a friggin flying fish, but not for a twin engine large heavy flagship model -- the Bush Mule, and many of us have been to customer support, every contact we can find, all for a plane that has been teased, lied about, mismanaged and etc for many, many months. Please tell me where, when, how I can get a manual for the Bush Mule. No one responds to email or service tickets, and there are no files, parts, floats online either. This is not the way to engender good will!

The bush is still on pre-sale, so no real need for a build-video / manual yet? Or did you buy one in a HK event?
@tommuhlemanjr.38717 жыл бұрын
You are a bit behind the news curve sir. They are in stock and shipping in the US and elsewhere. I bought mine one preorder and received it without the manual over a week ago. HK as usual is not responding to emails or customer service tickets.

Weird.. over here it still says 'pre-order'. No manual isn't great indeed though.. is the manual needed for something? (I have no idea what your experience level is).. But well.. on the 'behind the curve' thing.. Could be! Mostly cause I lost interest in the plane
