I've been using the Hobbymate D6 Duo Pro for quite some time now. I have three of them. I use all three when I charge all my flight packs at home before going out, and then take one D6 Duo Pro and a large car battery with me to charge in the field. Excellent charger. I did a review on this as well.

I've been using a Hyperion EOS 720i Net 3 for over 10 years. It's been great, I really appreciate being able to use my PC to program it and monitor charging and cell gap on graphs displayed on my computer's display.

I have the HOTA D6 which is identical to the Hobbymate. My understanding is HOTA is the manufacturer of the Hobbymate, and they also make the Spektrum Smart chargers as well. My D6 has held up great although the power cord sometimes needs disconnected and reconnected (very rare). I came from a Duratrax 235 which was a basic 4 button charger which was not great for lipos

Fully agree, so I´ve moved from imax B6 Clones (trio whatever) to the Hota D6 pro (same as Hobbymate...AC/DC version), got two of them in the meantime. But for the "next" version I wish there would be a 350 - 450W power supply included, and maybe bluetooth. Beside of that, super compact, pretty not that super loud. My favorite charger (using them on the BatSafes). Also awesome is external discharge, or the other way arround (using the DC plug behind the hota d6 pro, put full battery in, charge two lipos on front to balanced mode, and hopefully you "quick discharge" the battery on the back

Help please. I am new to the hobby, so new in fact that my kids haven’t opened their new Trx4m’s for Christmas yet. I want to get a good Lipo charger for the batteries and found this video. I understand the 2s ID Traxxas battery has a special connector and wanted to know if this thing can charge it stock with no adapters? If it needs an adapter what is it? Thanks so much for your help! Love love love your videos.

The Hobbymate D6 Dual Lite charger and T240 power supply has been the worst quality RC item I have ever owned. Both have stopped working at about 3-4 months of use. Very nice when new, just didn't last.

Try contacting Hobbymate, they supposedly offer a 1 year warranty on all their products. They swapped my T240 power supply, and I'm currently going through warranty process on the D6 Dual Lite charger. I received my original set in early January and both have gone out before July....

I have one of these. The only problem with it is it doesn't tell me my total mah when I connect it. Only when it's done a charge will it tell you the capacity. Otherwise unplug battery and plug back in again and it doesn't print the full capacity of your batteries on the screen.

I had a question regarding this charger. I started charging with Dualmate a 2S Lipo Battery Gens and it gave me an error of Abnormal Balance connection even tho in the screen it shows the cells above 3.6 volts. What do you recommend? This battery is relatively new.

If one wishes to bypass the internal (Ac to Dc) power supply in the (model D6) , I suggest using a 24Vdc @ 30 amp Ac to Dc power supply for charging single or dual High power mAh battery packs, like 4,5,6s 3000mAh to 8000mAh or what ever. An external battery to input a charge controller is not a good Idea unless one uses a good size battery such as an (AGM, Sealed lead acid) 100Ahr fully charged so not to cause drop out. Funny they call the packs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6s... Should be called (Example) 6csc or 6cs2pc (6 cell series circuit) or (6 cell series 2 parallel circuit) I have a friend in the hobby that builds his own LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery packs and still argues with me that 1, 2, 3s etc is a or is the cell... In a sense, it may be consider a "Cell Bank" but not a Battery cell that is made up as a single cathode and a single anode that makes up a single cell battery (Negative and Positive) He is a younger kid... The younger generation has it pretty good these days because the basic building blocks have been built for them to expand technology and that is a good thing but dangerous without redundancy. As A retired E.E. in the communications, Broadcast and Audio industry, I am having the time of my life. Not only do I understand the very basics of electronics, I can utilize the combined devices produced by putting together old school with new school to do and build some amazing things. AND they call the (+ Positive) the power, hot side when in reality it's the (-Negative) side that carries 70% of the currant/Amps/Volume. The D6 is a fairly good charger but as everything these days, I modify almost everything I purchase and make it better. in the D6, I replaced the Electrolytic Caps with (Rubycon Caps) and some of the resisters with 2% (Allen Bradlley) and the Voltage regulator devices with (APC) Listen to this nice person here on this KZbin channel as he talks about safety first. He does this because like myself... He has let enough smoke out of his devices to know what works and what does not AND like myself, Got into a bit of danger that none of us want others to experience. Let me tell you, its a real bastard to get the smoke back into the devices where they belong, LOL... I want to say., Sir, You are a wonderful teacher to both young, old and new to the hobby and your videos are spot on. Keep up the great work . Very best wishes., D. Mallett. P.S. I put instant coffee into a microwave oven and almost went back in time. (S. Wright)

@@RCReviewChannel I think what originally got my attention with them was their separate dischargers.
