Mike I like the on the porch/patio intro! This is a GREAT example of what I tell students...get all you can out of your trainer. They can teach so much more than the basics....like aerobatics as you've demonstrated! Awesome flying as usual man! By the way...that is what my throttle sounds like as well...that happens when you use rudder! Lol!

Awesome to finally get to see the pilot in front of the camera for a change Micheal😁 Yeah this plane has become popular lately ever since somebody was flying the ever loving crap out of it at Joe Nall recently it seems to very ''Able&Willing'' if it can only get away with 3d hovers? LOL!! Fantastic job on the flight as always Micheal👍👍

Thanks for the demonstration of the Aero Scout on floats. I never was interested in one of these, but this is defiantly on my short list of aircraft to fly when I get in my late 70's and 80's.

You make it look so good. When I had mine it felt sluggish in the roll and didn`t want to roll or perform fast with stock setup. I also think it is way to noisy. But your skills are second to none and makes anything look truly great!
@michaelclinerc32112 ай бұрын
Thank you! I do agree that it is rather noisy for an electric, and the configuration is rather unusual, but i am blown away by how nice it flies.

@@michaelclinerc3211 Good deal Michael, isn't it the perfect fun plane? I used it to train with and it's just fun to fly. Adam suggested that I sub, Thank you Jeff

Another thing I found handy when training students using the aeroscout Via a buddy box is to do an aleron to Rudder mix on a switch so that when the student is flying in safe mode I can flip the switch so the arrow Scout is a lot more sensitive in safe mode so the student doesn't keep getting used to just jamming the sticks all the way left and right.

Awesome flying and what an amazing plane at a great price point. It's probably the most recommended trainer out there but a lot of people shy away from it due to it's looks. I have to admit that I was the same but it grows on you and it's fun to see what the 'ugly duckling' can do.

The aerodynamics are incredible on the AeroScout. I am simply blown away by how much fun it is to fly.
@larryhawkes13473 ай бұрын
Well, after watching your past videos I would have never guessed you were older than me, I'm 65 and recently bought an aeroscout and also put floats on it and I would have to agree it's a very fun plane to fly. I actually think your throttle is just fine, you just need to tune your carburetor, sounds like it's running a little lean. 😂😊😂😊😂

Are you using the stock ESC or have you upgraded to get rid of the throttle delay? I also have an Aeroscout. I put floats on it a while back and it quickly demoted my beloved Eflite Twin Otter to second favorite float plane. I don't think the wheels will ever be going back on.
@michaelclinerc321116 күн бұрын
I am using the stock ESC in my AeroScout. I’ve gotten used to the throttle delay and don’t really think about it anymore.

Nice flight Michael, I like the plane I just don't like the sound of pushers. Now every student with an Aeroscout is going to watch this and want to do low inverted passes, just kidding you make it look too easy. Thanks for sharing

2 questions is everything stock For the electronics an what expo and rates are you using
@michaelclinerc32112 ай бұрын
All stock. I typically use 100% rates and 40% to 50% expo on most planes.
@stzimmermanАй бұрын
@@michaelclinerc3211 that's the information I was seeking as well. So you didn't change the throws at all from the stock 100%? That's impressive as mine doesn't seem to have quite that roll rate even at 100%. Inspiring performance to fuel the fire to improve my flying skills. Thanks!

That wouldn‘t work, would it? Sounds like you tried that… I was tempted to buy an Aeroscout myself, even though found it super ugly in the beginning and meanwhile rather neat somehow. What I can‘t get used to is that super annoying pusher prop sound. 😢
