Hey guys, love the video and the fit out. Would love to see a similar fit out or even some ideas for fitting out a Revo 13 for fishing. I am looking at the Revo because it's a bit lighter to lift on your own and a bit faster on the water.

Hi Chris. We do have plans to do a similar video for a Revo 13, but we're waiting for the new model to arrive before doing it. That won't be too far away.

I have this same Outback. Could you recommend a high back upgraded seat? the standard seat does not give me enough back support while I am peddling. I also have the Revo with the improved seat and love it but that seat does not fit the older Outback seat well. Thanks and Subed

Hi Mike, Sorry mate we don't have an upgrade option for that model. Cheers

Great video! I'm installing a Lowrance Elite 4x HDI. Having some grief getting the threaded piece over the transducer plug head. Any tips? Cheers.

I'm assuming you mean the threaded screw cap on the Hobie thru-hull fittings. It is a tight squeeze to push the plug through, but it does go (the threaded screw cap will flex a little). Use a little silicone spray if you have to.

Scott Lovig Spot on! I'll give it a go. Thanks for the reply.

I have the Hobie mirage Outback however it doesn't come with the Lowance ready compartment, is there any other way of fitting a fish finders transducer?
@paddlefishsail4 жыл бұрын
Glue the transducer inside of the hull so it can shoot through the kayak or mount it to the rudder blade.

Hard to tell what size ram ball mounts you used, whether 1" or 1.5 ". Can you give me an idea about what you used and where? Thanks a lot.
@paddlefishsail9 жыл бұрын
+NappingPup 1" Ram ball for the sounder, 1.5" balls for the rod holders.

For the rear anchor trolley I was wondering how you ran and installed them? i noticed on your pro angler fitout video that you said you ran it in shock cord.How would you run it on a 2015 outback?
@paddlefishsail9 жыл бұрын
Lochlan Davy if you look closely you'll see we used shock cord here to. Its a short anchor trolley (for rear use only) so shock cord works well. We wouldn't use shock cord for a full-length install, which is what we do 99% of the time.
