Hobie Outback Fishing Setup & Walk Around

This is my 2015 Hobie Outback kayak fishing setup. This is pretty much the way I go out on each inshore fishing trip. Sometimes I might add or take away a few fishing items depending on fishing conditions. I was hoping to catch some fish on this day from the kayak but they didn't cooperate. I took the time to do a walk around on the Hobie Outback 2015 and show you how I have it rigged. I like to keep my kayak fishing gear as minimal as possible.
My kayak fishing setup changes from time to time but this is the basic that I usually start with and modify depending on the type of fish I'm after or the weather conditions possibly.

Nice set up. My wife and I was there in late July to vacation and sail with our 2015 Hobie tandem island. I started out with an older Hobie Outback and still have it. May be bringing it down in Oct or Nov and was good to learn I can get in at 17th st.

+Andrew Simpson Awesome. Yes you can get out at 17th St. but it has to be high tide. Makes for a nice drift back toward the Point of Oak Island.

One question about the new seat. Does the high back seat make it more difficult to get something out of the rear?

I don't think so. No problem for me. The fact that the Hobie is very stable anyway makes turning around pretty easy.
