Honestly can’t compare this guy with any artist. The way he doesn’t rhyme stuff on purpose, is often off-beat in the best possible way and can bring across a message with so much feeling. This is so far from the music I like to listen, but still this shit hits me and I think it’s beautiful. Thank you.

I appreciate this song so much. The part where he doubts Ashley but also explains to her that it takes many times to be successful is like the part of my mind and how I feel about how successful I can be with the things that I love. Plus the verses about Derrick and Hobo's genetics is a huge hit to home for me because alcohol is definitely something that has effected my family and myself in many ways.
