As another kid raised near and later in Sacramento, Whos dad struggled with homelessness and ended up passing when I was old enough to have adult responsibilities but to young to really understand what life without him would be like, These songs really mean the world to me. I think your vulnerability and silliness gets mocked sometimes but its a voice that I think will do alot of good for alot of folks who listen. Its done plenty for me & I cant wait to catch you at ace of spades again sometime.

I grew up in Sacramento and only moved away a few years ago, so I spent over 30 years in Sacramento. I come back to Hobo Johnson from time to time because, honestly, I felt like he captured my teenage years to a T.

Feel a deep connection to every song on this album so far! My grandpa passed last year and me and my mom love dad’s bed. This one is also very close to how I feel. Of course I’ve connected to all of your music very closely. Thank you for making great performances of art!

As an addict (sober two years almost) genetics of obviously addiction on my mom's side and alcohol on my dad's... I lost my dad and my mom in 2017. I actually found my mom dead and six months later my dad passed. They divorced when I was 16. Childhood wasn't the greatest but I have good memories after the divorce it was downhill. I can relate so much to your music man. I have been a fan since almost day one. I appreciate you and your awesome real heartfelt music.

I had no idea you released new music until a few weeks back when Jansports came up on a spotify playlist while at work. I was so excited for the new music and immediately listened to the 4 songs you released at the time. All of a sudden I’m sitting there balling my eyes out while I try to install some doors… my father passed away from ALS at the end of March after being diagnosed 7 months prior. Thank you for releasing these songs, I’m sorry you and your family are going through what you are. I hope writing these songs helped you like listening to it has helped me.

To question if God is real is to question if the sun will rise again tomorrow. There is no question. I lost my mother abruptly at 20. At 29 I experienced my kundalini rising, a spiritual awakening. What you're saying about the stampedes is really important, it's very godly and spiritual! So inspiring and a relief to hear such! Cement is pollution! Humans are enslaved! Gods are real! Praise!

I'm in awe by the first verse lyrics, about Jesus and Sparknotes'ing the Bible... Just incredible. "I Sparknotes'd the Bible, then I listened to it double fast Had an awful urge to be an adamant iconoclast, cause How could you take my lovely dad away like that? Come on (Away like that) I Sparknotes'd the Bible, I said 'Jesus, just give me the gist' I said 'Jesus, cut to the chase' He said 'Who's Chase?' I said, 'Do you exist?'"
