As it bulks up to a point of not being usable, you can flip the pages all the way around to keep it flat while you are writing (basically bulking up the right side since the left side becomes too large). Thankfully, Sterling Ink released a book with just monthly and dailies that I bought for next year. I use my book for mostly memory keeping. It's something that you might want to look into! Hi! First time finding your channel, loved the tour! I love seeing the cousin as a life archive and your style is so fun and scrappy and you can really see how much it helps you to keep your memories. On the Avec problem: I used to get these thin sketchbooks that I just loved the paper and cover of and were easy to carry around but they only had 32 pages (64 double sided) but I was used to having sketchbooks with like 80+ pages. And I liked having certain time periods together on the shelf or certain projects all connected. What I ended up doing is once they were finished I would join books together with two rubber bands by looping it around the back cover of the first and the front cover of the second. One band would go up to the spine, nice and secure and the second closer to the edge to make the covers act like one page. Maybe this could be a solution for the eventual storage of the avecs. One book on the shelf but during the year a bit more manageable?

honestly I'm glad you don't use the hobonichi "as designed"! on the topic of being terrified of intruders, SAME... when I was in uni it was about midnight and just 3/6 of my housemates were home, one of them being a sublet for the semester. My bedroom was the closest to the front door so I hear the jingling of the front door knob first. My heart was POUNDING in my chest. I was like oh my god someone is trying to break in and I am our first line of defence?? So I text my housemate upstairs who is way too chill about it and decide to open my phone, type 911, and hold my finger over the call button for when this person inevitably breaks in. The jingling stops for a bit and then I hear footsteps coming up from the basement and I think holy shit they got in through the basement window. Turns out it was the subletter having a friend over just casually at midnight without warning, and allowing them to just keep trying the locked front door for a good 2 minutes before letting them in. So, suffice to say, I feel you 😅

I would SCREAM!! We were all so stupid in college 😂 one time my ex boyfriend and I got so drunk that when we biked home (still drinking and driving!) we wheeled the bikes in and FELL ASLEEP WOTH THE FRONT DOOR OPEN!!!!!!

Wow, I need to catch up on the snarky comment, or not. Who cares. I have always enjoyed your videos, so fun, I feel like I’m talking to an old friend while working on my planner. I too did think I was duplicating my stuff but I think of it as a big tracker which I make pretty or funky. That helped me and I continue on. Just a thought. Also I can totally relate to your Dad, with my Mom. Oh Lordy! Love your videos!
