I most certainly hope that is not all we get to see of Bobby Orr! Certainly one of the greatest two players ever to play the game deserves more than a few minutes mention!

That was cool to include table top hockey. I have not seen one of those things in years. I also hope that the Toronto Maple Leafs win the cup sometime soon. Not having won since 1967, it has been too long between cups.

To be fair, this was originally broadcasted on Canadian TV and was meant to show hockey as a national game in Canada. Ken Burns' Baseball mini-series didn't talk about Canadian franchises much and didn't even discuss at length baseball's popularity in East Asia and Latin America.

They have been talking about American teams and the series isn't over yet. You can't get mad at the fact that most of this is featured on Canadian history because it is CANADA'S GAME! Lol, sorry to come off rude, but where do you actually think this game came from? Canada did a little more than just "invent" the game, there is also a whole history behind it, and most of which revolves around our country.

Nobody in the US that I know would even care but I know this. If the NHL hadn’t expanded to all the great cities in the US after the original 4 here and offered all the great Canadian players places to play at the highest professional level, Canadian hockey would have been left in the dust. You look at the strike shortened years and where the players mostly decided to play to keep active, it sure wasn’t Canada. You all owe the US a huge debt for fueling the engine that made the NHL by far the worlds greatest hockey league. It.only continues to be “your game” because we in the US have made that possible! If it wasn’t for the USA forming the backbone of the business of NHL hockey Canadian hockey becomes English soccer, the world passes by the country that invented the game. Don’t ever under appreciate one of the pillars of Canada’s continued hockey dominance, its popularity south of the border. Without Philly and St Louis and Nashville and Columbus and all the others where do all the top Canadians go to play? Kitchener and Hamilton and Regina?? WHA isn’t coming back and failed for a reason.

@@Joscope just stumbled on this... 😊 I get your point.... Regardless Canadian hockey is fine on its own... That's the very reason why it's called NHL... Thus the adjective "national" in the league's name... That was discussed when Boston wants to join... But to promote hockey, for the love of sport United States of America was allowed to join NHL...and us Canadians we are glad that other neighbouring countries shares our passion so we share our players too...

Remember the days in america, and Canada, when you could attend a parade of 50,000 people and have fun, and feel safe, and no gun shots, fights, rapes, murders, or the like was taking place? No bombs. Just celebrating and having fun. Those days are LONG GONE! Sad, isn't it? Anyhow, try to take care of one another, be kind to animals, and hockey on, eh?

Typical Leafs fans lmao maybe one day, you'll win another playoff series if you keep telling everyone how great you are. The worst part is that i have a soft spot for the blue and respect the history of the team. I just wish the fans weren't so insufferable. The NHL is better when the Leafs make it through the playoffs.

It has NOTHING to do with political correctness. This isn't a documentary about LGBT, it's a documentary about hockey in CANADA. Women's hockey is a thing here and it's not stopping anytime soon. USA has a good women's team as well. They usually get silver in the Olympics. This isn't an NHL documentary.

Such a concerted effort to bury the memory of Doug Harvey in this series. The man ranked behind only Bobby Orr as a defenceman. You can see Orr saying his name as a defenceman he admired. To bury his memory is disgusting.
