Hockey Day Minnesota: Outdoor rinks are sprinkled throughout Minneapolis

The Minneapolis Park & Rec Board built the city's first ice rink in 1884. 136 years later, the community has enjoyed countless outdoor rinks sprinkled throughout the city.

I grew up playing puck at Windom Park in the 80's and still skate there. Their ice was great this year. The Mpls park board does a good job on these outdoor rinks.
