A forward pass is judged based on the player's momentum, not the ground. Most passes made at speed will appear to travel forward relative to the ground. Refs judge if the ball was passed backward from the player's hands and travel forward from momentum A lot of casual fans on social media don't fully understand this rule, so they often call out passes that travel forward across a metre line as illegal, but generally these passes are fine because they only travel forward due to the player's momentum. An easy way to tell if a pass was legal is if the player stays in front of the ball after passing. If the ball travels forward but the player remains in front of it, it means he is moving faster than the ball, so he must have passed it backward and it traveled forward due to momentum (basic physics lesson lol). What’s tricky is when a player gets hit after passing, because it makes the ball look more like it was passed forward. There’s videos on KZbin showing this clearly

😂😂😂 forward due to momentum sounds like forward. Seems like refs don’t pick them up because they’re behind play and the players are too fast in a line break. If they started checking for forward passes like union then clearys try would be chalked off

Forward due to the player’s momentum, not because they were passed forward. If you're running forward at 9 metres per second and pass the ball backward at 5 metres per second, the ball will still travel forward at 4 metres per second

For the NRLW you should've watched Broncos vs Eels. There was a good fight in that one (which is a rare occasion for the NRLW)

So far the Titans have only really re-signed players this year except for a pretty big signing of Carter Gordon who played for Australia in Rugby Union.

@@RyseZen I watched Carter play for Tweed Seagulls this weekend. He did fairly well. Scored his first try. He played left centre and his movements when defending are weird. So I feel that will be his biggest challenge. His defending and off ball positioning

You need to watch the best try July complication video for last year. The guys do some good ones. My personal fav was Brian To’o and the raiders cricket one. But the women’s were all amazing!!!!

Dogs v Raiders should be a good one, it’s been a long while since the Dogs have beat the Raiders however the game is at Belmore Sports Ground (The Bulldogs actual home ground) rather than at Accor Stadium.

Titans have one of the best players in the NRL out for this whole year, Tino is going to be back for them next year, massive in for them

These young Tigers will come good in probably 2 years like the Sharks a few years ago. They'll feel the pain of these losses and it will bind them and make them stronger. Luai might not make the difference, he's good in a dominant side, and is a confidence player, quite protected. They get Turuva from the Panthers too i think.

Tigers always down the bottom (Always) and I don't know why. The Warriors play really well and get on a roll, but their downfall is they're inconsistent. All of a sudden they have a major loss and NZ starts swearing at 'em lol. (they've never won a final).
