5 grand finals with 4 premierships in a row is a massive accomplishment especially in today's game given salary cap restrictions keeping the competition as fair as possible. This will not be seen again in a very, very long time. HISTORICAL RUN THAT DESERVES NOTHING BUT RESPECT regardless of whichever team you support.

Playing heavy through the middle feild could create Inside line breaks drawing outside cover defender's in & if play is quick enough attacking team can make them pay through lack of numbers having to be drawn in. Also a great way to tire the defending middle & dominate feild position.

Most frantic grand final I've ever seen. Sad for the Storm, but every loss is a lesson, and you learn from it and the victories that follow taste better.

Yes that was a tactic by the Panthers to keep turning it back to the middle, the idea is to keep the storm forwards working to tire them out

Penrith's Attacking Shapes are hard to defend They Ran the 4:03 Shape in All of Finals and Changed it everytime Finals Week 1: Cleary Puts a kick for Garner Finals Week 3: Cleary Feeds Paul Alamoti through a hole on that shape to score Grand Final: Storm Spotted the Shape again so had papenhausen ready at the back to defend a kick and hughes and meany to cover up the hole but panthers knew storm would be onto this play so They made Cleary then Paul Catch the ball but turn it back to the outside then Free Try in the corner

Yeah bro, most teams the big guys will normally go up through the middle on early tackle count to draw the defensive line in & then go wider to where the faster guys are out wide

Had a family BBQ at my cousin's we all went for Penrith and after the game me and my cousin's walked down the road to where all the Panthers fans were beeping their horns around the roundabout

That blatant try that was called a no try literally killed the game. But calls like that always go in favour of the Panthers they are the NRL love child after all.

Having all their players continuously going through the middle tiring their middles and big forwards. Later on in the game Penrith started to make easy metres and quick play the balls making it up field easier.. it's usually every teams game plan but Penrith are the best at with because To'o, Turuva and Edwards are the best at bringing it back from kicks. That being said.. Panthers the last 5 years have always just looked like the fittest team in the league

They are the fittest because they have to do the river run. Also back of Panthers club is the academy. Also the local area has a big Rugby League comp with lots of coming up talents too. Penrith will be strong for years to come.

hope the game was entertaining for you, it was a conservative tactual game could of used some more action but it was still pretty good. cant wait for your coverage the pacific championship!
