Let us not forget about Northwest ohio, Toledo walleye was mentioned, but Toledo Cherokee is in the USPHL Premier league and is a top team just about every season, not to mention they are an outstanding youth AA and sometimes AAA program that competes with the likes of Honeybaked little cease, Compuware, Belle tire and more. They usually dominate Team Ohio and blue jacket teams that were mentioned. Also Sylvania Northstars/ jr. walleye program competes with the likes of those michigan teams and top Ohio teams, Today Cleveland barons bants went down 5-0 to a Northstars team. Not to mention The 5 or 6 Ohio State Highschool championships that belong to Northview Highschool and St. francis Highschool in the last 10 years.

Central Ohio needs more ice. Miami University Goggins Arena is impressive.

Central Ohio has plenty of ice, it lacks quality teams and coaching. Parents are wising up and taking their kids to better programs like Columbus. The Swords organization is a disgrace. That organization is ran like a popularity contest and not a hockey program. Great players are constantly passed over for kids of the coach’s friends. I work at Sports Plus and see this everyday. The Indian Hill and Miami Red Hawks programs are full of spoiled brats and snobby petrified parents. The Dayton programs have been stagnant for about 10 years now.
