i am still learning the basics but at the moment the training is not by an actual keeper, the best drills for co-ordination should benefit me most, as well as help with reading the game so as best to run the defense. I was pushed into my club's 1st team and that became very intimidating so i have taken a step down to the 2nd team to improve and be a worthy keeper for the 1st team.

Hey @Aiden Wren! It all depends on what type of goalie you are! Some goalies are better higher up in the circle and others better at the goal line and dive more! Both have the pros and cons! So not one of the two is a better choice in general. Dennis

I love the videos! They are great and help to learn some more technique. I do wonder a lot about keepers gear. One issue I have is the fact that the front strap on my kickers keep going over my toes after some walking or actions. Any ideas how to fix that?

Ik kan btw nederlands, automatisme. Ik speel al vrij lang hockey, maar heb pas sinds dit jaar o.a. Keeperstraining en meer actie want ik speel nu 1e klasse bij een nieuwe club.

I will do it in English, since maybe more people will have this problem, because it happens a lot! If your front strap or back strap(the one behind your foot) is too loose, then this can happen. Make sure both our really tight!

Always try to make the save with the legguard/kicker! When you have a good basic position, are in good balance and stand in the center of the goal you are able to stop every ball with your kickers/legguards/gloves! You can dive when you are not standing in the center to make the move towards the corner or just for fun! :)
