Few questions. How close to def man are you looking to do this? Stick length? What's the trick to get the d man to bite on the half stop? Most seem to keep backing up towards goalie. If they keep backing up to goalie, then move to center of ice for shot or make the pass? If they stop, then cut past wide for the shot on goal?

Hey I have been practicing stickhandling at home with tiles and a superdecker but when I get on the ice I struggle to replicate the speed and consistency in my handles. I have good posture with my hands but it just seems to go all out the window on the ice. Any suggestions?

Great job putting the work in at home first of all! When you get on the ice things will change a bit, especially when moving at faster speed. My suggestion is just to make sure you're still getting enough on-ice practice in as well. There will be a lot of carryover work from your off-ice stickhandling, so keep doing it too! 👊

Hay Kevin I am Emily I am 10 from nyc and I play lite travel hockey for the nyc cyclones thank so much for the 1 On 1 drills I will 100 persent do them next time and am on the ice also how many times a week should work out for my age I workout 4 to 5 times a week at home

Hey Emily, keep up the awesome work! At your age 2-4 times per week would be great to help with your hockey skills and overall athleticism. This can also include playing other sports (which is always great for hockey performance). Keep it up 👍🏻
