You make too many assumptions about how late shops stay open. Why do you think a TAVERN in town would close by 6:00 pm? Only day Amos closes is Sunday!

Why do you grow so much stuff, hoard it and make the LEAST profitable food to sell? I make tons of money because I sell the expensive food!

When I start a game I have no idea what is going to be relevant, required, requested. I assumed I'd be able to acquire cooing recipes a little faster in this game than I have so figured I'd use up the stock quickly. Now that I know they are only acquired through leveling my tavern, and not through other activities or purchase, I'll have to shift focus. I'm not a min-max player so these videos might be a frustrating fit for you.
