I don't care what anyone says: I think he knew he was on borrowed time, so he wanted to put some things to rest once and for all. All those things he said and did that angered people, he wanted to put those things behind him. He wanted to seek retribution and forgiveness (which is why we see the Warrior Award now, despite people now trying to bring that past back up because of the Moolah thing that went down when the same people never had a problem with it before). I believe he received it, and that night on Raw after Mania, he gave that speech, and I honestly believed he was saying goodbye to all of us. That was chilling that he passed the night after he gave that speech. He knew and he didn't want us to worry, and he wanted us to remember him for who he was in the ring, and not let the bad things we heard be the lasting memory we had of him. It's chilling, but in a way reflective of what we would do if we knew we didn't have long left and we needed to do whatever we could to make our final days worth the time.

Jim knew he had health issues resulting from years of steroid use, and most likely they were all heart related. Regardless of the backstage drama with the business he was a great entertainer, and he will be forever remembered in the world of Wrestling, and how many of those performers made such an impact in the short time he was on top of the mountain. Regardless of his detractors he made his impact in the world of sports entertainment, and he is a legend that will never be duplicated. RIP Jim and thank you for all the memories.

I really miss how wrestling used to be. I can remember growing up and going out to the arena to see wrestling matches with my family and friends. We always had a great time when we went. My uncle was the general manager of the arena and I got to meet so many of those legends in wrestling from that golden era. I met Hogan, Piper, Andre, King Kong Bundy, and the list goes on and on. On two occasions I got to see the warrior backstage, and I know many people had some bad things to say about him, but he was very kind to me, my family, and friends. In fact, the second time we were backstage he came up to us and I really thought that was something he remembered meeting us prior and he actually introduced us to his wife, who was with him. They were very nice people and regardless how the business saw him, to me he really was the best. I still have all the photos he took with us, and the memories. Thanks Jim. RIP

Warrior wasn't really getting phonecalls from absolutely anyone before he showed up for the HOF ceremony, he wasn't on speaking terms with A LOT of people, another one was Jake Roberts who tells a story similar to Hulk's, Warrior went there with the intention of making peace with as many people as he could before he passed, he somehow knew he was close. It’s sad that he left us so early in his life. I was never a fan of the Warrior, but I respected him as I do all wrestlers. It’s part of my Irish heritage after all. Anyway, it was good to learn the Hogan was able to make amends with him before he passed. Hulk would have felt terrible if he hadn’t, and now matter what you think of his wrestling abilities, Hulk Hogan is a hell of a great guy. He help Micro ChampionshipWrestling get off the ground. Those performers really needed a job, one that would give them dignity and that utilized their skills. Hogan has done many other things to help people. When he wrestled King Kong Bundy in Phoenix for the title and had his ribs broken, after he had seen the doctor in the Hospital where my brother worked at the time he insisted on seeing the kids in the children’s ward. Awesome thing to do! It’s seems trivial, especially now that so many WWE wrestlers have done the same thing, and that the organization has taken kids along for the ride when they were ill, it’s a great thing they do. Thanks Mr. Hogan!

Even if he was "acting" on this segment, as a fan from wwf/wwe from the 80's to now, its nice to hear that they made somewhat of a peace before warriors death. My favourite moments with these two was in the 1990 (if i recall correctly) royal rumble when they met in the ring for the first time and obviously WM 6 when they met and put their respective titles on the line. The ending of that match was so memorable that for me it was and still is up there with another memorable moment and that is when hogan slammed andre.

Hogan, Patterson and Warrior had a picture together on RAW. The haters still said, that doesn't prove they reconciled. Video evidence appeared of Hogan apologizing to Warrior and shaking hands, thus burying the hatchet. Yet, the haters stated it was all an act by Hogan to conveniently have a camera there to catch it, which he had planned ahead of time. Never mind the actual fact, the camera was from the WWE following Warrior for the weekend to make his brand new dvd, and had nothing to do with Hogan. Warrior passes away, Hogan was not seen at RAW, but haters said Hogan is a P.O.S. for not being there. Haters also stated, it was good Hogan was not there, because he would be a P.O.S. if he was, since Warrior would not have wanted him there.

Now days, opinions are facts, where videos and pictures are made up. Negative will always be negative especially Warrior and his fans. Now watch all the thumbs down and negative comments follow. Lol!!! Just as I thought!! Lol!! The truth is only the truth until the persons view is seen, then thats the truth cause thats the only truth they wanna see. It can’t be written, photoed or video taped. Well unless the video is in a negative way then its the truth. IF its peaceful or happiness then its all BS. Negative is what the world wants now!!! Look at the news people can’t wait to be on TV posting negative stuff, you never see positive stuff. I think its best from now on to just watch the videos and move on cause a lot of these comments are negative on a positive story. True or not at least Hogan isn’t blasting anyone.

Finding out yesterday Lanny Pofo (aka The Genius in WWF) passed on. I remember watching wrestling religiously ever since WrestleMania IV 1988. Waking up on Saturdays and looking forward to wrestling more than any cartoons. 4 months b4 I turned 12 Monday Night Raw debuted. I look back and so many of these greats I idolized have passed on (many far before their time). It's an extremely difficult life as a wrestler and I can empathize as to why so many of them some times fell down dark paths. Some others just simply broke down. In the end it doesn't truly matter (they're gone) I simply am writing this to pay respects to Warrior and all the others this world sadly lost. May they live forever in the afterlife.

@@JohnDoe-fv3vs Exactly. I had a similar reaction after Eddie Guerrero died. I kept watching for a while after that, but as time passed things just started to lose more and more of the allure that was previously there. It just wasn't the same anymore, not without Eddie's unique charisma and personality to brighten things up....the way he could make you cheer for him regardless of whether he was playing a Face or Heel....there was never anyone like him before, and there will never be another person like him again. Eddie was truly one of a kind.

When I first saw the raw on tv live, I noticed warrior sweating badly and couldn’t move well. My first thought was it looked like he was having a heart attack. I feel it was more a get through it without pissing anyone off. Getting Warrior to the HoF, to Wrestlemania, to Raw, people were probably just trying to get through it. I thought he looked hot because of the thick heavy coat he had on and was trying to do a promo in character in a city right on the Gulf Coast. The WWE might have asked him if he was okay and they might not have. Can't force the guy to go to a Doctor, he might have thought they were up to something. No idea what the situation was or how well all parties relationships were at that point. Were they just playing nice for the occasion? As for the EKG, that takes specific equipment. They don't know his current health issues. What if they did take an EKG? Then it's on record. Then it is providing care and they could be held liable for it, if Dana found out about it and took them to court for wrongful death. His contract to show up for these three appearances may not have needed a physical or medical clearance. How would anyone know to do an EKG if they had no knowledge of medical issues?

Maybe Hulk Hogan is performing a work. Maybe Hulk Hogan is telling the truth. Maybe Hulk Hogan KNEW that a WWE camera was following the Ultimate Warrior around or NOT. TBH, we'll NEVER know the real story. That's the problem with professional wrestling. It's almost impossible to tell what's a work versus a shoot BUT that's part of the allure. I was a fan of the Ultimate Warrior. Personally, I'm VERY happy that he got his Hall of Fame induction and made peace with whoever he could. He made it through that WrestleMania then RAW the next night BUT he passed away LESS than 24 hours later. How tragic would it have been had he NOT been able to do ALL that! RIP Ultimate Warrior.

You could just TELL, when Warrior was in the ring that last time, he was struggling. Every snarl seemed to drain him. When he was asking for the mic near the beginning of the segment, the way he motioned hurriedly for it and the look on his face, he was struggling just to breathe. Despite all of it, he still managed to summon one final shaking of the ropes for the fans. His speech was basically his own eulogy and that sucks.
