I met Bret Hart at a local baseball game back in 2008, I was 28 and I shook his hand and he looked me dead in the eyes and said "yea" dead ass angry as in saying he can and will kick my ass if he wanted to and I was like wtf lol. I was 6'1" 210lbs in muscular shape from playing sports, construction, and working out and I knew he took offence to this afterwards lol; he was my legit idol growing up and he literally made me want to punch him in the face (even tho he would've kicked my ass haha). Bret is a legit fuckin asshole. Every since then every time I see Bret in videos and interviews I can easily tell he has always been obsessed with himself (best there is bullshit) and thinks he's better than everyone is (best there every will be bullshit). It's amazing when you actually met someone that you've seen on TV, they're all a bunch of self ego idiots

There are a few people he mentions in this same interview in a positive light. Undertaker, Andre The Giant, Kerry, Kevin, and Chris Von Erich, Chris Adams, British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Dynamite Kid. Altho he was friends with Davey Boy, he has criticized him too. I think Warrior was more friends with Dynamite and Bulldog just happened to be there whenever Dynamite was there. Warrior never spoke ill of Dynamite Kid and you can tell from the way that he would talk about him that Warrior looked up to DK.

He is 100% right about Ric Flair. Flair cried through his entire WCW run that he was being screwed over yet was still prominent on TV weekly throughout his 40s and 50s wrestling, as on-air authority figures, everything. Even had his whole family on the show at one point. Meanwhile dozens and dozens probably hundreds of young talents got ripped off for air time and never got their careers off the ground thanks to this dude politicking and hogging the limelight while simultaneously crying he was being f'd over. Still in the business to this damn day.

I will say this, we know that a lot of those guys were the meathead jocks and bullies in high school who lifted heavy in highschool, got drunk and partied on the weekends, were obnoxious as hell! And they found a way to get paid well for their bad behavior. I say, good for them (they weren't stealing). But it sounds like the Ultimate Warrior just didn't jive with that. A lot of other wrestlers have also said Borne & Buzz were truly assholes and malicious. A lot of other wrestlers also have said Brody was conniver always trying to get over on promoters. Brody would try to work an angle in every territory at the same time and would often no-show to show up wherever they paid him the most. And shit, Jake has said the same thing about himself that Warrior said... And a lot of other wrestlers have call Flair 2 faced... And obviously the Kliq were total immature assholes. Everything Warrior said here is true and can be confirmed by other wrestlers. People just don't like Warrior so they shit on him for telling it like it is.

Bobby Heenan said he didn't like Brody at all. He said that Brody was always trying to screw the promoter because he thought the promoter was screwing with him. @@cottonkids6052 Warrior was just clapping back after Bobby buried him on that stupid Self Destruction DVD that WWE put out. It sucks as a fan when two guys you grew up with hate each other. Just like Ric Flair and Bret Hart. I refuse to ever take sides. They both meant a lot to the business. So did Heenan and Warrior. Bobby was mad because he felt like Warrior didn't protect him when they wrestled each other. But really, how much protection can you give a guy with a broken neck? Bobby should never have been in the ring. He should have told Vince to fuck off. I hate that Bobby had to live with that pain and the fear of being fired due to needing surgery. A lot of what Warrior talks about seems to be correct about those people and many more that he talked about through the years, but the problem was his interviews were pretty much all like this. I can't remember ever hearing him say anything good about anyone. Eventually it just sounds like sour grapes for the things he didn't accomplish instead of being thankful for the great things that he did accomplish. My guess is he could of done a lot more had he played the game and didn't try and piss everyone off. Warrior had a great career though, and I'm glad he was in the process of trying to make right with at least some of those that he trashed before he died. R.I.P. Warrior I loved your character, and even though you tended to be a little grumpy towards the business you made your career. You seem to have been a great father and husband, and honestly I feel that is what really matters in our lives.

Nobody called him bitter for saying it IF he was just saying it once here and there. The problem with Warrior for a very long time was it was all he talked about. Every single interview. Every single podcast. All he did was slam the business and everyone in it. That is why he was bitter.
