This Hogwarts Legacy video is my guide for how to solve all nine of the different Merlin Trials scattered around the map. In Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll find a ton of gear that’ll quickly fill up your inventory. You’ll have to make many trips to Hogsmeade to clear up some space only for it to fill up again. One way to solve this issue is to complete the Merlin Trials around the Highlands. (Fair warning: There are 95 of them.) There are way too many merlin trials in this game, especially when you consider that the end reward for collecting all 95, or how ever many there are is pretty lame. You would think that given the fact that they had a unique merlin robe that they locked behind twitch drops, that could have been the end reward for doing all of these.

Yeah, the flipendo one took me a while to get right, once you get used to it it goes much faster.

I’m a little late however after you get wingardian leviosa (probably spelt that wrong) accio will actually turn into wingardian leviosa if you hold it. I love that because accio pars well with incendio and that way you don’t have to wast a spell slot with a utility spell.

Once i figured out the butterfly one i was like, wow thats so obvious, but they are still my least favorite.

Nice. At first when i saw the title and thumbnail i thought, dude, there are way more than 9 merlin trials, but then it became clear. I wish i would have had this guide when i started the game, lol. It took me forever to figure out the butterfly one, and i kept trying to use levioso and wingardium leviosa on the flipendo ones.

Then jump from one to one trials, easier just jumpin on the broom and touching each top.

I like the exploding balls and the exploding rocks ones the best. It is merely a fun factor decision for me. I think my least favorite are the magic golf ones.

I got so close to completing one of those magnetic balls trials, and then disaster happened and they rolled down this hill and got trapped inside a vegetable garden when I accio-ed badly. I did try to get it out but this was early enough in the game and I was bad at it. After that I quit all Merlin trials except the blow it up ones which I like. I'd figured out several before I gave up but others I had no clue so appreciate the help in your video! :)

That one is the one that took me the longest to figure out naturally. But eventually, i linked the butterflies from the paintings and then it clicked.

Man i cannot find a video on the flipendo cubes on how to lift the cubes off the ground. there are a few where the pillars are broken and you have to lift it on

Not a merlin trial, but what do you do with the glowing blocks. Only one and there is a spot nearby where it appears to go. Hope you can figure out what I just wrote.😮

I'm actually stuck on a Fipindo trial atm. problem is there is no way to turn the stones even with levioso or the other one that is supposed to turn the stones. flipindo only works gripping them vertically. I need to also turn them horizontally. it feels like these set of blocks are bugged because no matter what I do they won't turn so I can successfully finish the trail. At the same time there is a clump of blocks in a cave I can't properly set the stone to finish the quest either. same reason. stone won't turn like it should when using wendgardium levioso (spelling)

3:27 I don’t have a problem with these standing stone pillars, it’s the other ones of those stone pillars you have to jump onto without touching the ground and the jump action often triggers a running action afterwards making it painful and hardly unable to complete. This game has far too many trials and too many issues.

The jumping one i couldn’t do it with the broom.no matter what broom or how I did it,it would not let me complete it.Don’t know what I’m doing wrong.I tried jumping down to up and it is impossible so I turned around and tried jumping up to down which is so much easier and I completed the challenge.

Don't know if anyone will answer this but I've been trying to figure out the Merlin trial that's in the southwest of Hogwarts valley between two bandit camps. From what I understand there are two statues you can repair and nothing more I searched around for other statues to repair to no avail please help. Or at least put the timestamp because I can't find it.

the third one is just hidden. I remember one where it was down by some water tucked behind some vides that you need confringo to destroy before you can repair it.
