What about Ray Tracing + VRR in the Oled C2? (i used that and it feels and looks pretty damn good, maybe it'snot ral 60 fps but closer for me) Dont like the other performances cause without ray tracing loose it's magic

I feel that the latest patch did something to the brightness/paper white quality to the game, and made it seem much brighter and kind of washed out in some areas, like your "classroom shot" for example. I had to reconfigure my tv set up and in game setup to try and make the contrast and light match the new patch. Maybe this is just me going crazy but I did notice a big change from the game in the evening before, to the morning after the update.

They really need to start using AMD fidelity FX CAS in games with a toggle. It's an amazing dynamic sharpness feature and can make lower resolutions look much sharper without over sharpening.

After the patch this game doesn't work with my soundbar. It works fine through TV speakers but when I put it through soundbar cut scenes have no speech from the characters. Anyone else have this issue?

Currently playing on PS5 in Performance mode and am just NOW experiencing this issue. All of the sudden, I can tell that performance mode isn't EXACTLY buttery smooth like it was before 2 seconds ago. It's a little bit chompy now. Hopefully another update comes out in the near future because little things like this bother the shit out of me lol.

I actually think the balanced mode unlocked (with VRR+120 hz) is actually extremely decent now. Last patch, I could really feel the stutters, but it feels like it's far more stable now. Maybe my brain is just stupid, but I don't notice it as much now. There are certainly some problem areas still, but much better.

@@XiLock_Alotx Yeah, I'm on an LG C1 too! I even had a long bit inside a dungeon where the game ran at 60-65 fps in balanced mode (but still sits at mostly like 40-50 in the open world).

I think the same. But there are still too many times where it gets super choppy. Especially in the castle or in combat, so I still just leave on the fps cap. They could implement LFC on the game side. I think Insomniac did with their games. I hope they do the same.

Based on what i can remember from the pc req list the game needed a lot of vram for it to run at the higher settings What you are saying got me thinking maybe there is an issue with memory management cuz PS5 only has like 11GB available for games and thats unified memory unlike PCs with seperatr ram and vram

Performance with unlocked fps is my mode. 50-70 fps. I think i got some trouble with this game. If i deactivate uncapped framerate all modes runs with 60hz and not 120hz so i cant use 40fps capped mode. If i change to uncapped framerate Fidelity, balanced and raytracing mode runs with vrr 60hz. Only performance and High framerate mode changes my tv to 120hz.

After the PS5 patch the game play for me has literally gotten worse. My first playthough I had NO GLITCHES, NONE...Now, 'post patch' every other mission glitches where I can't even finish it or the whole game crashes.....absolutely ridiculous

Framerates and micro stutter are the least of the problems this game has. It's literally impossible to set the camera acceleration and follow speed to such a level where game actually becomes playable.

Massive L that ps5 didnt include the LFC from 40fps. This can be done in software too but req extra work so prob only first party devs like inomniac will deliver on that.

Selecting uncap is hurting you. 40fps is perfect when in 120hz mode but when you uncap it the PS5 can’t support the uneven frames when it falls under 48fps

Balanced on series x.perfect. vrr works between 40 en 60 fps on series x. So you are always in vrr range. Infornutly ps5 only goed to 48 fps in vrr range. So less playable in balanced

@@acevedoaandres yeah at first. Then looked at some tricks in youtube channels that recommend you to change the camera speed and acceleration. Now after changing them it is very fluent and speed. And also playing the game from a distance instead of sitting closer. All these steps help.

@@TheEdmaster87 I've got 5. But I've only tried it on 2 so far. 5800X and 6700XT with 32gb RAM game running on a NvME drive. And 5800X3D with 6900XT and 32gb RAM also on NvME drive. Haven't tried it on my Nvidia rigs yet but they've both got less VRAM than either of those rigs so don't see how it could be any better. Frame rates are actually quite good but it feels choppy as you pan the camera and you get repeatable stutter when traversing the game world. It's super frustrating.

On the XSX, Fidelity mode with Raytracing, uncapped framerate running on the LGG2 with the VRR is the definitive way to play this game. You and I have the same TV. Get it on Xbox and try it!

Once agian ' Every games who realise' Not only are the game patched and fixed when you wait atleast 1 mouth or 2' Game of the year edition both patched and all DLC include to a much cheaper prize ' The No man sky update ways is awesome in itself, look at No man sky today compared to when realised. It both a bless and a curse" In future games developers should stop realise unfinished teknical product claim it is a finish and takes fully prize. In pratice pay to be a beta tester. With all that said, havn't tried Hogwarts Legacy. Do not know if it was realised in a teknical unfinished state or not.
