Once you’ve completed the disillusionment spell with Sebastian later, you can use that to sneak up on the chests with eyes that you couldn’t open, and they’ll give you 500 galleons! I ran around collecting them for a good chunk of galleons :)

A tip for when you're fighting, press R1 when you see it show up on the screen, then you'll throw barrels and other stuff and it'll weaken the enemie! 😊

Always put clothing on even if you don’t like the look. Then go to the transmog area (there’s a change appearance option on each area) and you can remove a hat/scarf/gloves and still have the attack/defence ability associated with that item of clothing. You can also change their appearance to something you really like the look of, for example you could go through the whole game wearing your robes but it gets better skills associated with it. Also, don’t forget to collect your rewards from the challenges you’ve completed.

don't worry so much about the look of your clothes, you can sell everything and it will still appear in your list to use in the "appearance change" when you hover over each item in the lower left corner you will see change appearance. So you can wear anything you have collected or sold. Just remember you have a limited storage and this way you sell everything you don't wear so when you loot a chest you will have room for new items of clothes. OH forgot, you can wear everything and just hit the don't show item to still get the perks of the item.

Love watching this series! When you’re on gear pick the highest offence/defence items and then back up and hover over each item section and press x (may be different button on ps5) to enter the appearance menu and you can change the look of each item. So you can add a hat to get the defence/offence benefit but then remove it in the appearance menu so it looks like you don’t have a hat on so it doesn’t mess with your outfit x

@@aleexx5261 you as your character are asked to choose who goes with you. From what I’ve seen, the initial choice doesn’t impact anything yet. I’m not done with the story so i can only speak to how far I am in. The quest also seems to play out much the same.

Hello again. Those picture frame that you saw outside Bingle and Batch are puzzles that you need to solve. You must use Lumos while pointing your wand at the frame. The frame will then show you a picture which you will have to then go and look for the location of it, it is usually near the frame. These frames are all over Hogwarts as well. By solving them you get more EP to upgrade the level you are on. Hope this is helpful. ❤💚💛💙

A quick tip regarding revelio, when you hear a ding while casting it, that means a concealed field guide page is nearby, the louder the ding is, the closer the page is

Also the oval mirror you couldn’t do anything with - cast Lumos and it will give you a picture of a location close by. Find the location which is where a moth will be (revelio will light it blue which may help), and cast Lumos again to bring the moth with you back to the frame. Lumos once more to put it on the mirror and you’ll get a page! Tada:)

Just a quick general tip to the game and all other games. Listen to the sounds around you. the undiscovered pages make a shimmering sound when you're near it and when you use revelio and it makes a ding sound, there is a page in the direction that the ding sounded from.

the strange mirrors are little puzzles where you have to cast lumos and it reveales a place you have to go to and you have to cast lumos to find a moth you found in the mirror and you have to bring the moth back to the mirror.

Been playing myself as well before it was released, 'cause of course I wanna fly on the thestral so deluxe edition it is 💜 Tip: In order to open the eye chests you need to learn first the desilusionment charm as a quest part of the main story, then you simply need to use it to become invisible out of the chest sight and just go to it and you'll be able to open it since it can't see you. Have fun exploring everything and don't forget to use Revelio (I use it almost every 10 seconds to make sure I haven't missed anything ahah)

You should definitely equip items they give you defense or attack boosts. Just turn of their visibility if you don't want them to actually be shown on character! It makes battles a lot easier!

In fight you can use other spell like Leviosa or Accio to make better damage on enemies. Also you have oportunities to take some object to throw it on enemy. When u use Protego you have change to do Stupify with it. 😉 Wish you best play 😉❤️

At first, for opening chest with eye you need to learn spell for invisibility, than you can open it 😉 Second frame what you see with butterflies use LUMOS and you need to find missing fly on it also with Lumos. 😉❤️ Great play

Just so you know if there's any gear you don't like the look of but the stats are good you can actually change the look of. Hats you can choose to wear get the stats but make it invisible - same with any other item. Pick the items with the best stats in their little category when your back on the main menu where you can choose between hat scarf gloves ect just hover over it and press Square it will say change appearance and you'll have a load of options to choose from the more you collect the more outfit styles you can choose :) hope this helps it took me ages to realise this and I wanted my character to look like a student but also have good stats for duelling and not look silly :)

You should always look at your new clothes immediately since you don't have a lot of space and you can find quite a lot around. Always equip the best stuff you can always change your appearance (you just make the current stuff you are wearing invisible and you can wear all the stuff you ever had even if you sell) and then sell all the rest since you will soon not have enough space. You can still destroy the stuff while out and about but you will be missing out on some galleons 😁

I really like your videos. I am also a very big Harry Potter fan and play Hogwarts Legacy myself every day🥰😍. I can't stop playing it's that good. 🙈 I just wanted to give you a few tips: 1. You can change your clothes. For example, if you find a better cloak but it doesn't suit your taste, you can change the look of it by pressing ◻️. Or you put on a scarf, which others don't show up like that. So you don't wear any 2. You can only open the chests with the eye if you cast the disillusionment spell 3. In case you haven't noticed: you can change your gear's appearance at will, using any look that you've previously discovered, so just wear whatever has the best stats (and also - not wearing a piece of gear is really gimping yourself, especially later on, when you get into attributes - I have stacked level 3 diffindo on all my gear, and a 1-2 punch of glacius-diffindo hits for over 8k damage at level 34, which is instant KO on anything smaller than a troll.

Go back to tomb and scrolls whiles it’s night go to the back room and on the dresser there’s a statue with a prophecy in its hands that can only be collected at night and it will do you a favour later in the story

Don't forget to use R1 and throw stuff at enemies, it will help you in combat so much, you would have taken the troll down much easier if you had used it more than the one time :) it is part of your Ancient Magic skills.

Always equip the highest value of offense or defense gear and if you don't like the look of it then hover over that specific gear slot and it will tell you what button to push to change it's appearance you prefer.........or in the case of something like the hat or face gear slot click in the change appearance on the red circle with a line through it to not show the hat but you still get the item stat

You're doing great collecting ingredients and using Revelio often. Make it a habit to look at your mini-map and the active quest on the left, so you are aware of the tasks you must complete before you go any further with exploration. You will need to progress in the main story and side quests to learn skills and spells that you can use when exploring. 😊

Change the way any item you are wearing looks by hovering over it and pressing Square. You should wear the best items in each category, you can tell which by the green or red arrow which indicates if its better or worse than the one you are already wearing. If you dont like how it looks, change its appearance using the Square button. You can even make them invisibile, so if you dont want to wear gloves, still equip them then change appearance to none and they will not be visible! Also, sell any item that is worse than the one you have, you will still have access to its appearance even after it is sold. Be aware that you dont have endless inventory.

When you are in the clothing window for each piece go for the best piece...when you go back to the screen with all the slots is when you can pick the look of that slot using (F on PC) not sure what it is on PS but you can select the look from all the pieces for that slot that you have collected (even if you sold them. Once you have the piece, it unlocks that look

Hello, I would just like to let you know that you can change the appearance of of any equipped gear to either not show or to look like any article of clothing you've unlocked by pressing "X" when having over the different clothing categories. For instance, you can equip a hat but choose to make it "invisible" so you can get the stat bonuses without it affecting your aesthetic.
