seemslke the raspberry is a basic function of howlers in the game, they ALWAYS do it when the message ends. Like its not the sender doing it, but the howler itself once the message is delivered

I remember when Ron Weasley received a Howler in the Chamber of Secrets. She yells at him for stealing the Ford Angela car, and she spoken softly to Ginny congratulating her on being sorted into Griffindor. Also speaking of that, in 9:50 a mother is upset that her child is sorted into the house she doesn't approve and demands that they get Professor Black to re-sort the student. You can't get a student re-sorted just because the parent doesn't approve of it. This reminds me of when Sirius Black was sorted into Griffindor instead of Slytherin like the rest of the Black family, including Phineas Nigerius Black.

The howler will yell ten times worse if you chose to ignore it. Neville expressed his experience that he did ignore his howler from his grandmother. The second time he got a howler from his grandmother was when he lost a list of passwords which Hermione’s cat had taken to Sirius Black so he could enter the Gryffindor dormitory. That causes Neville to lose his privileges of going to Hogsmade for the rest of the year and no other students are allowed to give him the password so he could memorize it himself. So yeah… best to open the howler and get it over with. It’s better than being yelled at ten times worse.

I honestly thought every parent was so negative because I only heard a handful. I didn't know they were so many. A good chunk of them is just parents disciplining their kids for things they actually did wrong, like casting a spell that made their sister vomit slugs for 3 days, or Sneaking into the forbidden section of the library

There was another male-voiced howler chewing out a student for turning his/her brother into a dung beetle. ("you! it's taken 3 days to find your brother, and your mother almost squashed him first! I got the one where the howler scoffs at a student's house and for me it was a Hufflepuff. Even as a Slytherin I found that extremely ridiculous and strongly feel that the Wizarding World could use some of the Muggle World's common sense and decency.

My guess is that we could probably choose our character's background during the character creation process (like in Mass Effect) but this feature was cut from the game. Another interesting thing I found while exploring the data on my save file to use a companion mod: it labelled my character as "pureblood". I've heard other Slytherin players finding the same label on their save files too.
