The developers have made it very clear that YOU will choose your house at the beginning of a game. Attending class is one of the main ways you level up your skills. (Don't cut classes, esp. your Broomstick Riding classes). Hogwarts Legacy appears to have at least five story-lines: "Goblin Rebellion", "Mysterious Corruption (red eyes)", "Poachers of Magical Creatures", "Merlin's Legacy", and "Ancient Magic". The game design allows us to support, oppose, or ignore any or all story-lines as we choose. (If Peeves the Poltergeist gives you any trouble, just cast "Oscausi" (Seal mouth shut) on him.) (Remember: To enter the kitchen below the Great Hall, "Tickle the Pear") "Mischief managed."

Omg, I wanna actually be a shit student and cut class all the time XD just go out running around doing whatever and gaining any and all skills that can be gained outside of class. Will there be a truancy officer in the game? What would detention be like? I wanna find out!

. I am hoping that all three Unforgivable Curses are in the game. For my "Evil Hufflepuff" play through I hope to use the Imperio Curse to control the undead, and play as a necromancer. (How many house points will Hufflepuff loose if a 5th. year student goes to Azkaban Prison for life?)

I hope there's a test to go along with it. Kinda like how the hat said Harry would do well in slytherin, but the hat let him choose gryffindor. That way we can be all Divergent up in this hizzy and take a test to see what we are inclined towards, but still make our own choices.

I believe so! With cut scenes and everything, not sure on the length, but with side quests and all the exploring we can do, I don’t think we’ll run out of things to do!🤩

They should honestly start off the game with us the player going on the train to hogwarts….also I hope they bring in multiplayer later in the game state, since it is a new game with many things already so there is gonna be some bugs then hopefully later in the years they’ll hopefully introduce other things we would want/like

I'm honestly partially glad it isn't multiplayer. I don't have the money to pay for an online switch subscription (jobless college student atm, hope to fix that soon!), and my pc isn't made to run games, so if it were multiplayer and you HAD to have online access to play the game, I wouldn't be able to play it. It's what happened to Splatoon 2 for me, I couldn't play the main part of the game anymore. And I know multiple games exist that have to have you online even when you're not playing with other people. Plus, it's a lot similar to Divinity 2: a big open world experience with storylines and npcs that can join your party, and I absolutely adore that game. Hopefully they add multiplayer features in the future though! Playing with other people can be fun, but I'm glad online access isn't a requirement of the game.

@@hawklegs6940 totally agree. Though I think with games like this, it should be an option. Like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. 100% playable and fun without internet, and without multiplayer, but multiplayer adds something extra that’s fun. Same with the Lego HP games imo too, albeit that that is local multiplayer

@@effyapples6219 That's true! Though, from what I've been told, animal crossing multiplayer has a lot of issues and is more annoying to use. I've used the stardew valley one, and it's great! I suppose my thought on it is, if they can add multiplayer, great! But I'd rather they stick to their strengths (the combat system, the story, the open world) than stretch themselves thin trying to incorporate extra features to please everyone.

Its set in the 1890’s, so this would have been before they even attended Hogwarts school, let alone been a teacher yet!🙂

The year is 1890. Albus Dumbledore is only 9 years old. We don't know what year Minerva McGonagall was born. When she entered Hogwarts at 11 years old, Armando Dippet was the headmaster.
