With this gimbal, you said that you can track yourself using an action camera like DJI or Go Pro or other cameras that fit there. is it possible to stabilize video footage of gopro or Dji action camera?

in theory it should but I only tried the tracking feature without doing any extended test for long periods of time with an action camera. I've seen a lot of users having these kind of questions so I'll work on a video testing this and maybe other cameras to know if they can effectively help action cameras or not (it holding and moving it around gets shaky then it's a clear no-no)

It doesn’t improve in terms of quality because the resolution, bitrate and all that remains the same, but the motion blur effect caused by the electronic stabilization can be further minimized when you use a gimbal

The pro 4 is meant for action cameras. Other smartphone gimbals usually hold them but must be used carefully

the tracking depends on a few factors, which will determine how sticky it will be, for example, subjects far away might be lost, low light conditions might affect it, etc

it all comes down to your needs: Do you need the tracking sensor, do you want it to be light and portable or do you want to have more features. I have a few reviews of the latest gimbals for smartphones. These include the Hohem iSteady M6, DJI OM6, insta360 Flow, Zhiyun Smooth 5S ai. I think I'd narrow the list down to one of those if I was looking for a gimbal today

Thank you for your channel. Just discovered you today. This will be my first gimbal as I start my new KZbin channel. Do you have a preference of M6 or V3? The cost matters but am willing to spend more if needed. I will be shooting with a Samsung 24 Ultra if that makes a difference. Maybe I should just buy the DJI Osmo Mobile 6?

The M6 feels more like a heavier duty gimbal than the V3, but you won’t get the portability, extension rod and built in tripod. If being portable is important go with the V3. The remote is another feature to take into account. Definitely changes how you use a gimbal

You are welcome! M6 has a classic design so tilt and panning angles are going to be higher, useful for many situations. Tracking seems to be the same, M6 will handle heavier phones in a better way. The V3 is great if you need a compact/lightweight gimbal. The built in tripod is not the greatest thing ever but is very useful

As I said in the video, I like the DJI OM6, I've been using it most of the time specially when I travel. Too early to tell right now but I'm using this V3 a bit more lately. The fact that it has the tracking sensor is a game changer, and hohem only had it on a bigger gimbal (M6) which is great but doesn't have the compact/lightweight design as the OM6 or this V3. So now we have the tracking sensor, plus the built in tripod which comes in handy sometimes.
