Probably the best review of this mic I've seen. I like the mini SD card recording and the remote camera activation. But the reverb was truly dreadful!!! Rx of this type often don't work with thick cases. And it's NOT iphone/android compatible. You have to choose at purchase. The audio quality varied according to position on your blouse. Close to your mouth it's great. Not so hot mid chest level.

Had this for a week, and the feature set was pretty good (external mics, onboard recording, and a very light receiver ideal for gimbals), and sound quality decent for a sub-$150 device (a little noisy, but can be cleaned up easily.The Rode Wireless Go2, is better, but much pricier) but I returned it because I was disappointed that there is no way to get a stereo wireless signal over the USB-C plug, just both mics panned centrally. This means you cannot mix 2 microphones, and cannot gate the mic of the person that isnt speaking. As everyone reviewing it is a solo KZbinr, people dont seem to be picking up on this.

You can try 3-way sync between Video, Laudio, Raudio from the memory cards ... maybe not easy?

Clipped sounded better. A bit too much echo otherwise. Might be your studio. Sounded way better outside. The backup is quite handy. I am a bit sceptical of the mic position. Top would be better imho especially for surpressing wind noise. But the fur should do a good job as well. I wonder when those mic developers discover that they can put multiple mics on. Together with some software trickery they can do awesome noise cancellation just like todays smartphones that sound fantastic with super little mics.

the only wireless microphone checklist: - removable or at least easily end-user-replaceable/maintainable and widely available batteries - timecode - 32-bit float - stability/range - 3.5mm input with low signal-to-noise ratio and the less plastic the better

Not much audio quality in this one! It's like wavey, don't know how to explain. It's not a consistent sound. I do have some middle quality headphones, but still, the sound is just not worth it form my point of view!
