Hi, I have a question maybe you can help. I'm planning to visit Hoi An in mid-September, but I was advised not to because it's the start of the wet season. Should I take a chance? BTW, thanks for the upload!

As a local, I can confirm that September marks the beginning of the rainy season here. However, the rain won't be too heavy, and the ancient town under the rain is quite picturesque. If you're worried about the rain, you can simply stay at your hotel and enjoy the amenities. Hoi An has many beautiful hotels, and they often offer interesting experiences like cooking classes, lantern-making workshops, and even creative activities for children.

@@Bohdi66 Since Hoi An and Da Nang are only 30km apart, their rainy seasons are pretty much the same. However, it doesn't rain every day. There will be both rainy and sunny days. You can check the weather forecast before you go, but I can't guarantee it's 100% accurate.
