We hope to make it to Ecuador next year. I met a guy from there when I was in the Navy. Everybody thought we were dating but he was the sweetest guy. When I got out of service we planned to meet him in Ecuador. Unfortunately he passed away in January and his mother got in touch with us and said she still wanted us to visit. Such great people. I hope you have been able to go home as well. ❤

That 100k was more than generous for the friendly farmer! His friend was just trying to get a fortune frm u to see if he could 🤦‍♀️ This takes away from having friendly interactions with locals when they demand high tips and adds to gentrification + tourist pricing. So glad u stood your ground!

Eric looked like the person on a roller coaster trying to hide the fact that they're dizzy/ slightly afraid on that circular boat 😂... The rice fields and the buffalo on the roads are typical of South Asia ... Sara on the buffalo was more concerned than Eric on the boat 😂 the ancient town looks so vibrant....great video again

I very much enjoyed my time in Hoi An, but for me it didn't match all the hype. I feel your pain about the squabble over money for sitting on the buffalo, I had a number of bad experiences whilst travelling Vietnam. But I also had some of the most wonderful experiences of my life.
