Hey bittersteel, I've been looking to do a mega monarchy run with a couple other people. Any interest in a collaboration? Mega monarchy would consist of 3 players, one Portugal, one Spain, and one France. For max cores, Portugal can reunite the Brazilian throne and core Mozambique and Angola, and France can attempt to integrate some of its colonies. Spain's job would be to win as the Carlists with support from her monarchist friends and neighbors. Then Spain can unite with Portugal through Iberian union and France can unite the thrones of France and Spain

they need a big tree branch about the maginot line extending and also variations of this like a maginot like extending with even netherlands and maybe even a maginot line union where denmark makes a version with everyone's help at their border so germany has a maginot line apocalypse to face...lol id love to see belgium be able to call dutch farmers in america to increase population manpower by taking a small % of american pop as yours which would give you a ton recalling back to the homeland...say you go fascist that would be an option for manpower and communist can do farmers on the mainland in netherlands territory...you can annex netherlands over belgium farmers there...unite the farmers you could have railway gun branch where they get super op and your railways get built faster and railgun is better than others...and a bunch of naval stuff to add like submarines to be like germanys uboats and belguim wolfpacks... lots of stuff you can do...you can do a race for paris and a version of your own germany...and do an operation sea lion of your own...or go after spain or italy...a whole tree focus for all that would be epic...even just a belguim vs denmark 1 on 1 lil branch would be cool too...belguim expansion in south america as well taking on netherlands and venezuela for the oil...

Would it be possible to do a small guide on what you look for when you're micromanaging (like showing what certain situations look like)? I'm not sure what to look for when fighting major powers and the guides I've looked up are super vague.

I've been asked this a lot. I'm not sure how to make guide on this, as its mostly down to playing slowly and looking ahead (bypass troops, push towards areas that are good for encirclements)

What do you tend to prioritize when microing, do you pay most attention to the troops you're fighting or the terrain you're fighting on, or a combination of that? (I know that's a deep question but this is the stuff that I am not sure what I should be looking for to take advantage of situations) Right now I just look at the number of divisions and when I have more troops I send them in, but they don't always succeed.

Depends. If you have fewer troops, I push to provinces that would reduce my frontline, meanin it would take fewer troops. If that's no issue, I attack in favourable terrain, like plains, and try to do it in places where I can create encirclements, by pinning units, supporting attacks and cickle cuts

3:42:00 The AI didn't cheat, you can do it too depending on the circumstances. A division will only take the multiple combat penalty if at that particular moment it's both defending and attacking, and you can see it at 3:41:37. The port divisions stopped attacking by the end because other divisions had arrived to relieve them, hence they no longer suffered from the penalty.

The formable nation isn’t hard as you can mostly farm guns from Italy and a classic 10/0 with support artillery beats Portugal and Spain. The hard part is RNG.

You can form the EU relatively easily if you play as Germany, get the territories you need while still being fachist and then you become democratic

@@marcvoeffray-peyro9289 you are right. But i think that Belgium should be the only country that can form it, due to the fact that the ,,capital'' of EU is Bruxell. Plus there is a bigger chalange if you form the EU as Belgium, starting as a weak nation and becoming a masive super power
