Thanks for the video! Was able to get the achievement easily. Also decided to go for Vive la Jeune Ecole (As France, research all torpedo launcher techs and have 150 or more destroyers by 1945) while I was at it.

I spent all day Saturday (as in, two days ago) getting this achievement. I preferred my method, which is similar to yours except I went down the Latin Entente path instead of aligning with the Germans. It ended up making the African borders look pretty neat, which I liked, and I was easily able to capitulate the UK without attacking from Germany. Now I'm sitting on the border waiting for the Germans to attack.

I found sending volunteers to SCW helps out with XP. Plus it prolongs the war for even more XP. And you train your general. Nice trade for some minor increase in WT.

Very nice video, i really love how you do these achievments! Could you do a middle eastern country and form Arabia? Or world conquest a belgium? I tried world conquest as belgium many times, but i never manage to naval invade / parachute into the UK. And the axis (going as rexist belgium) never seems to be much help.

I've done the achievement without the given wargoal of the focus tree. You just need to get fascist and save 50pp for start justifying manually on UK and prepare a naval invasion from Hamburg to Hull, then fight on land without calling Germany to war (you probably get stucked trying to advance because your units are unequipped, but at the end you'll reach London).

I've tried, but you start out so weak as Vichy, all your precious work, minus building, goes to free France. So you have no national spirits, no advisers or good laws

I think a great mod to play would be Kaiserreich! Its a "what if" world that shows what would happen if Germany won WW1. Also, most, if not all nations have their own national focus tree!

I have a question: whenever I want to steal manpower from my subject I take their templates and when I start making that units it drain my manpower instead of my subject. Am I missing something? Butt3rSteel

Depending on the autonomy level of the subject, a percentage of your own manpower is still needed. I think at integrated puppet you only need to provide 10%, like you are just providing the officers and the soldiers are all theirs

@@Bitt3rSteel Well, I'd assume the first part as normal France would be just building up the Vichy states and North Africa (and diverting to core Algeria), then just getting through the focus tree as Vichy France before seeing what Mr Mustache says about ending the occupation. If he says yes, you take over the UK. If he says no, you kill everyone, because if you take option 2 and rejoin the Free French, you're no longer Vichy France. I'm sure there's more nuance than that, but that seems to be a general gameplan.

Hey Bitt3rSteel, I've got a challenge that I would really like to see someone take on in the current build of the game: play tiny, little Ireland, and beat the Allies. I haven't been able to get past securing the Emerald Isle and turtling on the island myself, but I have read a couple of posts that while it is EXTREMELY difficult, it is still possible. Are you up for the challenge? Can you achieve the Irishman's 900 year old dream by defeating England?

IMO you're better off improving relations with Japan and sending the attache to them instead. The Chinese just cycle attack the Japanese continuously. You get a ton of xp from them.

When trying to recreate this I keep getting damn "Public demands rearmament" instead of "Communists In Government". It's infuriating as I am following step for step and it's not changed in all 5 times I've done it today. It's really annoying as it means I can't get the National Regeneration focus done at the same/right time.

Invading Britain with any country that has the ability to produce 3 transport planes, 24 basic infantry (supp engineer & artillery) is a meme nowadays. Fact that Dover is never garrisoned is broken. Really needs fixing

I find invading Dover to be sub optimal. Hitting Hull and cutting the country in half with a micro offensive is so much more satisfying
