I always love reading through the story of Gunn, especially that last event. Happy to see the series coming to its fitting conclusion soon. If you want something in the region that also is conquest heavy, may I recommend Gateway, Dakota Chapter, or Langenburg if you want something familiar.

I'm actually curious, if one of the focuses requires Gunn to be cured "in some way", might there be ways to cure Gunn other than MANIFEST? This Old World Blues mod seems to do a fair bit when it comes to narrative branching paths to take.

There is a nation of ghouls called Reservation in the old Los almos testing site. They are remenants of an old world research division that in their lore is said to be on par with Big MT and the Institute, just focused on more practical and simple aplications of science. They have also been working on preventing ghouls turning ferral for like a century, so my bet is it has some interaction with them or alternatively the Big grass if they survive since they also consist almost entirely of robobrains and spicialize in brain transfers to robotic bodies

The Canadian/Northern expansion is the best one for HoI4:OWB, IMO, without a doubt. The trees are all so thematic, often actually challenging and have a well written story that works together and makes the whole area feel like a different retelling of the same story, depending on who you play. I think you should play a Super-Mutant faction next, for something *completely* different! :-)

If I remember correctly, only King Gunn II (Kingdom of Manitoba) and Hope (Pleasantdale) didn't have the option to kill Destiny when you met her. This makes sense, considering Gunn II doesn't want to die if he has a choice to live, and Destiny is Hope's sister.
