As the creative writer of the Kentucky focus tree, I will say, for my first focus tree in HOI4, wasn't that bad overall, though mind you there was some changes to the tree that I wish was kept. The biggest thing was the foreign policy tree as it had 2 paths, one path would've formed the Atlantic States of America, the other would have formed the nation of Appalachia, creating a unique identity related to those who live in the mountain range and its immediate area.

I would have loved that path and it sounds like it could have been pretty powerful considering how massive Appalachia spans. I'm also not just saying that as a Georgia native and a loved of Blue ridge.

@@MauiWowieOwie Well my philosophy when making focus trees is more on the idea of it being an outline/guide and almost treating the game as a geopolitical simulator rather than strictly just a "haha paint map game". You can see that same influence with the US tree in Millennium Dawn, especially when the next update comes out on April 29th. That tree was the first tree where I was both the writer and the actual coder for it, as I had to learn the coding cause there was no one else to do it and its actually not as bad as the videos make it feel. Especially with those on the MD team that helped me with my constant questioning lol.

This is one of my favorite mods, and I'm so glad that you decided to play it! I highly recommend reforming the United States as the district of Columbia because it is super fucking fun. You're also able to reform Canada by playing as Ontario or Mexico as the nacion federal. I'm very excited to see more north America divided!!!!

I would really love to see a Nevada run considering that especially more so in the 1930's, most of Nevada was being run by the Mob. And also obviously known for the casinos. Also, I would love to see Nevada take over California because there's always some hatred towards California by Nevadans (even to this day btw) that goes as far back during the days of the old west with territorial disputes which actually did escalate to full shootouts. Nowadays the hatred is just the simple fact that California buys up all of Nevada's water & there's the constant onslaught of Californians moving in as well as being economically dependant on California. So yeah, would love to see a scenario where Nevada finally screws over California in this mod.

It would be bonkers. The UK alone has over 600 individual constituencies not counting places like the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Even breaking that down into more generalised regions like Essex/Sussex/Wessex/Cornwall/Devonshire/Herefordshire/Lake District/Fife/Carmarthenshire/Angelsy/etc would be a lot, never mind France/Germany/Norway/Moldova. It's a fun idea but would require an awful lot of work and about three university's worth of history students to compile everything
