Whats the difference between dark & light hojicha roasts?
@hojicha3 жыл бұрын
The main difference is the length the roast. A dark roast tastes a bit smokier than a regular roast.

Is whisking hojicha method same as matcha’s? In terms of the timing, the speed? I realised hojicha have a much grainy texture than matcha and leaves more sediments at the bottom thanks

Hi! There's no difference in the technique used, though fine Hojicha Powder typically does not require sifting like matcha. It's best to start whisking with a very small amount of water before adding more liquid. Adding too much water at the beginning can result in sediments or clumps. Also, not all powders are ground the same size. Our Hojicha Powder is ground the same size as matcha, and it makes it easier to dissolve it in water.
