I sure want to like mine, so far, I'm having buyer's remorse. I normally have been using Merrills and On Cloud hikers as daily work boots. Wife talked me into these. Not impressed so far. All the reviews say the toeboxes are roomy and a good fit along the length. Mostly true, but my problem is, this toebox seems very squared off, like looking at some millenial's 'cowboy' boot. My weird feet have a longer big toe, tapering/slant down to my little toe; this works great for a tight runner shoe. In this square box, it jams my big toe straight back. I normally wear an 11 consistantly. I had to return the Anacapa GTX size 11 for an 11.5 and even these are jamming me up. I'm thinking if I send them back and get 12s, I will then have a sloppy fit through the arch and heel. I'll try these a bit longer and see if they eventually break in, but this will be my only pair. I'm going back to what I know. Nice that they have a very good return policy.

Important factor to consider(for me) when buying footwear , is there arch support? I have flat feet & also suffer with Plantar Fasciitis

Hi, thanks for your message. Having tried them a few months ago, I'd say you do get good arch support. Also our reviewer Rob said, “For such a lightweight comfortable package the Anacapa 2 provides incredible support and leads to a great walking experience.” You can read the full review here: www.ellis-brigham.com/news-and-blogs/hoka-anacapa-2-mid-gore-tex-review If in doubt, I’d recommend heading to one of our stores and trying them for yourself. Hope this helps! Thanks, Andy

So confused between anacapa vs Kaya vs trail code - looking for an all season shoe, any recommendations?
