HOKA SPEEDGOAT 4 REVIEW (After 500k's)

Hey guys! Here's my review of the Hoka Speedgoat 4 after 500 km's, hope this can help out a bit! Do you guys love the Speedgoat as much as I do?

Nice review, i ran over 750 miles in the SG3 and they are also my favourite trail running shoe. Today i ordered the SG4, i am excited if there is a big difference between both versions. Greetings from Germany

The Mafate is awesome also if you need a little more traction, if I’m hiking in sloppy conditions I wear the mafate’s. If rocky dry conditions, Speedgoat’s. Take Care 🎅🏻🏴‍☠️🏔

For some reason the Mafate’s are impossible to find in Canada, definitely want to try them out!

Thanks for the user oriented review! Can you compare to the hoka challenger atr 6 GTX. Looking for a hybrid typ of shoe...for running in the wet on the road, trail and Forrest running and the occasional hiking. The speedgoat 4 gtx seems to check a lot of boxes but not sure if suitable for the road. The challenger atr 6 seems slimmer ...your thoughts?

The ATR is considered their road to trail shoe, it might work better if you’re going to run in the roads a little more.

You can definitely run on the roads with these, they are just a little heavy and bulky for a road shoe, but comfort is still there!

I am usually size US 9 men. Do you think with the thin type of socks, a size 8.5 US would fit my foot? I do have a not-so-wide type of foot. Would love to hear your suggestion on this one. Thanks!

Hard to say, I like the fit true to size in these, but everyone is different.

I’ve gone up to 50 milers in these, I think they would work for any distance though.

they are definitely comfortable, just depends if you like the look for daily wear!
