Thanks for your detailed videos from the FET :-) so one question: have you used a suction or vac on this table saw? if yes, how it is doing?
@gordparrott964026 күн бұрын
I wish you had indicated the saw does not work well from the factory. I bought it but the fence is not square with the blade.

Could you cut 2” wide strips that are 24-30” long on this?

Such a small powerful saw. I see you took of the built in extension table. I assume you didn't like it?
@Harris-DIY Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, yes the small side table does not fit with the system I use but is Ok if you use the saw as it is from the factory.

@@Harris-DIY I understand. Those are 20x40 aluminum profiles, right?

Thank you for the videos. I'm thinking of buying this one. I just wonder, Can It cut acrylic?
@Harris-DIY2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I often saw acrylic on my saw, but use safety glasses

Do you have a solution to upgrade the motor power. I upgraded the power on my Proxxon bandsaw because the power of the original was pathetic and it transformed the tool. The FET saw is also very underpowered and I'm looking for tidy solutions to upgrade that too.
@Harris-DIY2 жыл бұрын
Electronics is not something I know very much about and I haven't heard of anyone who has done it, so I haven't considered it. But I agree that FET could use some more power.
@KT-TV2 жыл бұрын
@@Harris-DIY thank you my friend. I'll probably do a similar conversion as I did with the bandsaw
@bastian6173 Жыл бұрын
Do youi mind sharing how you upgraded your bandsaw? I have it also and I find the power to be insufficient. Look forward to hearing from you

Sorry but I don't have a Proxxon band saw but a small Scheppert which I don't use very much

Where did you get the mitre fence from?
@Harris-DIY Жыл бұрын
They can be bought in many places, just search for 2040 aluminum profiles

Great skills' If you enjoy spending a lot of time trying to make and expensive toy into something else. There are many other brands that do what you are creating , out of the box. The older model that Microlux sells, made in Japan is a better machine. Thank You
