Even cheap kalimbas sounds nice, but these HOKEMA kalimbas are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

Are the smallest tines on the 17 all the way on the edges only playable with a fingernail like most cheap kalimbas or are these easy to play with a finger
@WePlayWellTogether12 күн бұрын
the B17 is wide enough so you can play all the tines with your finger checkout our videos here weplaywelltogether.com/collections/hokema-kalimbas-collection/products/hokema-b17-c-major

@@WePlayWellTogether I’m more so asking if the furthest out smallest tines are stiff like most cheap kalimbas or nice and easy be honest thanks
@WePlayWellTogether12 күн бұрын
@@Eyes_that_see_set_us_free they are not stiff and have the same flexibility and sound quality than the other tines. Our tines have a different feel and are very different from the cheap tines used on low cost models. I am standing behind Hokema Kalimbas quality.

@@Eyes_that_see_set_us_free no they are not stiff , they have the same playing feel like the other tines. If you order one from us you can also always return your purchase for a full refund in case you are not satisfied with the product.

Did I miss it? Or did the video not show any tunings for the 11-tine kalimba? The description says there are 11-tine variations shown but I didn't see any.

was ist das für ein stab auf den man draufhämmert? ein spezieller oder einfach etwas, das den schlag beim stimmen abfedern soll?

It looks like it's hollowed out, in order to minimize slipping onto another tine and accidentally tuning an adjacent tine. Other than that, I can't tell you exactly what kind of tuning rod that is, as this is my first look at Hokema kalimbas.
